I'm organizing a new team with the name Psychic 5 for serious, dedicated, and skilled players from Gold 5 to Platinum 1.

I'm the team captain, coach, and mid laner. I need a strong top, jungler, adc, and support to play for the team.

Also looking for an analyst who keeps up with the current metagame, as I don't have time to do the deep analysis required to truly grasp the meta every patch. If you want to apply for this position, be prepared to answer technical questions about the meta and how analysis is done. If you take information in from other analysts on YouTube and just repeat it, rather than doing the analysis by yourself, that's great, but this wouldn't be the position for you.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • Actively attempting to improve via analysis and reading/watching LoL content

  • Able to play almost every day

  • A good mic with little background noise

  • Reasonably sized champion pool

A plan for the team's launch:

Gather Applicants: I will utilize various LoL discussion boards to gauge interest in Psychic 5. Applicants will be pre-qualified based on information provided in their application as well as statistics.

Tryouts: I will now take each qualified applicant and run them through a tryout process. This will be a verbal interview, then series of 3 normal draft games, possibly queueing with other applicants as well. Verbal communication, game knowledge, map play/rotations, and strategy will be the largest deciding factors for approval. I will try out at LEAST 2 people in each role before making a decision on recruitment.

Planning/Preparation: Once a full roster is filled, we will establish a schedule to play that works for everyone. We will then have a primarily verbal session to formulate team compositions, strategies, and communication systems.

Execution: We will meet every day at the scheduled time and open with a coaching session, involving a VOD analysis of the previous day's games. Everyone will be given a gameplay aspect to work on during our next games during this coaching session. Then, we'll go ahead and play some dynamic queue/ranked 5s. Once I feel like we're ready, I'll get us involved in competitive tourneys.

Role: Support Age: 18 Champ Pool: Janna, Alistar, Braum, Karma, Nami, Bard, Soraka Communication Skills (1-10): 6.5 I'm relatively a quiet guy, but once I get comfortable I'm very talkative. I have good communication especially when it comes to bot, such as warding, dragon control, & map awareness. Previous team play experience, even outside of LoL: Not much. I did try out for a team, but they didn't get back to me which I assume I didn't make the cut.

Age: 20 almost 21

Champ Pool: At the moment prefer Zac, Gragas, other disruptive junglers, but will to work on anything.

Communication Skills (1-10): 8? Kind of a hard gauge to go off, but I like everyone to be on the same page as far as roaming etc.

Previous team play experience, even outside of LoL: I did a lot of WoW raiding in progressive timing, not much competitive pvp though so far other than solo queue CS:GO / League.

Needs to be said : I have a very good gaming rig, reliable internet and am not afraid to stay up extremely late on a regular basis. Also, I have skype, discord and use Curse webchat

Role: Any role im honestly lost and which one to play atm but i mostly play Top Age: 15 ( almost 16 ) Champ pool: Lux Pantheon Yasuo Thresh Leblanc Morgana Darius I can play probably any champion but you going have to tell me my champion pool as whatever role you put me in Communication Skills ( 1- 10 ): 5 I don't really talk much im more of a listener and will follow through shot calls even if i think they are questionable (to me)

I've never had any experience on a team, i really want to have some with a serious team i know im young but im ready to learn and putting me on a team will give me alot of motivation on trying again

I've been playing league of legends since i was 14 I'm Plat 3 and im ready to learn from others and make new friends!
