Runes for top laners

Hi I have a 13 rune pages and playful top lane ake runes you suggest ? My TOP laners : Darius Mundo Garen Jax Lee Sin Nasus Poppy Renekton

Yes! It pretty much fits most top laners, ADCs, and junglers.

I feel like AS runes are a waste unless you're doing early dueling in the lane. Truthfully runes are very situational in a sense. I run pages such as:

AD top vs AP top AD CDR AD top standard AP top vs AP top AP top vs AD top Move speed AD

I also have plenty of custom builds I do for some of the champions I main.

Malphite/Sion Max HP% Flat AD Armor Scaling MR. (Sion scales with more HP and his meta build right now works great around HP% runes. Malphite 90% of the time goes Frozenheart/iceborn - Thus the extra HP is very nice to have in lane/early mid game.)

Ryze/Vlad can use a custom page as well.

PS: The custom pages are for optimizing those champions, If you don't play them; Don't bother it'd be a waste of a page. Just op.gg me and check my runes. Most are self explanatory with the title. Ry = Ryze V = Vlad

Edit: Running AS on jax/ire is incredibly broken. Use itttt!

What are the runes on the AD top vs AD top ?

On Renekton I generally like to run: Flat AD Quints Scaling Armor Seals Scaling Magic Resist Glyphs Flat AD Marks

Against a full AD team you can replace the Scaling MR Glyphs with scaling health.

With Renekton you want the flat AD so you can bully your lane opponent. This can allow you to buy a tank or bruiser item early and still deal relevant damage. Since you're taking flat AD, you should win almost any matchup which allows you to take scaling runes for the mid and lategame. The scaling armor seals surpass the flat armor seals at level 7, and before this point you don't need the stats to win a fight. The scaling mr glyphs surpass the flat mr glyphs at level 9, which is well before any ap toplaner's power spike. You take armor over health because Renekton has a cap on the heal on his Q, and because he has hp on his ult.

Depending on who I am playing that can change, Normally Attack speed or CDR. Very seldomly Lifesteal.

Renek/Wukong/poppy I run CDR

Wukong depending on the match up I will run attack speed it partners well with his E

On tanks I will run just a standard user - Flat AD scaling MR flat armor.
