Stellar eSports Recruiting Players/Coaches for ALL RANKS (CompeteLeague)

Hello! My name is Guy, and I am the founder of Stellar Esports, an amateur organization of several teams dedicated to individual and team improvement in League of Legends. Currently, all of our teams are participating in CompeteLeague, which is currently in between seasons. I am posting this thread hoping to find new and competitive players who want to commit to joining and competing in the amateur scene.

We are also looking for coaches and analysts, if you do not have enough time to compete as a player, but still want to help people improve at this game. Currently, we are only in CompeteLeague, but are looking to expand our influence as an organization into other amateur leagues and tournaments.

PLAYERS

With that being said, we are looking for players for ALL positions, and ALL ranks. However, due to CompeteLeague’s rules, there will be some restrictions on how teams will be organized, which are;

Smurfs, account sharing, and boosting are NOT allowed under any circumstances. Both our organization and CompeteLeague have measures that can and will be taken should a smurf be discovered under our banner, which may result in players, teams, and possibly our organization getting banned from their community. For competitive integrity and for the sake of your peers, if you wish to compete, please do so under your highest ranked account. Players are restricted to their respective leagues by their rank to make competition more fair. The three divisions are Bronze/Silver, Gold/Platinum, and Diamond/Master/Challenger. Players from lower ranks can play on teams in higher leagues, but higher ranked players cannot play in the lower leagues. If you wish to join a team with someone ranked significantly higher or lower than your own rank, then you must join the league of the highest ranked player in your group.

Teams are limited to 9 player rosters, consisting of 5 main roster members, and up to four subs, similar to Riot’s Ranked 5’s format. Your final rank last season is what is used to determine what league you play in for CL. If you ended in Gold V last season, but are in Silver, you must play in the Gold/Platinum league. There are no exceptions.

Now, let’s talk about what you will be doing should you become part of one of our teams.

Stellar Esports is an organization that is dedicated to helping its members improving in a positive and professional team environment. As such, it is important that teams under our banner follow some rules in order to make sure that their players are getting the most out of their time.

Teams will practice regularly. The default schedule is from 8-11 PM EST, from Sunday to Thursday. Teams can determine their own practice schedules, as long as they are meeting at least four times a week consistently. Until a solid coaching staff is established, higher ranked players are encouraged to use some free time to help lower ranked teams and players should they need it. We are meant to be a community, so seeking out help from other people of our organization is something I highly recommend. By playing under our organization, your team must be participators in CompeteLeague. You will sign up for their Open Leagues, where you will play official games to compete for spots in their Premiere Leagues, which will earn you the privilege of having games streamed and shoutcasted by CL’s media staff. The weekly schedule for CompeteLeague is;

• Bronze/Silver meets on Mondays from 8PM-12AM EST.
• Gold/Platinum meets on Tuesdays from 8PM-12AM EST.
• Diamond+ meets on Wednesdays from 8PM-12AM EST.

Your team must have five members present for your scheduled games on your respective days. Inactivity will result in your team getting disbanded, or your roster being reworked by our moderators.

COACHES

Now, let’s talk about coaches.

If you want to coach for a dedicated team, look no further than here. Our organization has several teams already established that are looking for experienced, respectable, and dedicated coaches to help them get to the next level. This is a voluntary, non-paid position, and you would only be coaching under our organization for the love of this game. People interested in coaching must fulfill these requirements in order to be considered for a position under our banner.

• MUST be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be at least Platinum V in Solo Queue.
• Must have experience in playing on a competitive team (in amateur tournaments or Ranked 5’s)

Coaches are responsible for working with the captains of the teams that they are assigned to, and help develop an enriching and productive practice regimen in order to prepare for their official games once the next season of CompeteLeague begins. Coaches should be present on game days, and at least 75% of all teams’ practice sessions.

5 MAN TEAMS

Finally, for those of you who are already in full five-man teams, we are looking for those as well. If you are interested, by playing under our banner, you have access to a community of active players to practice with and against, as well as the opportunity to participate in official organization Scrim events, where teams under the Stellar Esports banner, as well as guest teams from CompeteLeague, will scrim each other in a tournament to simulate being in a competitive environment. Applications will no longer be accepted by Saturday, April 29th, 2017 at 12 AM, Eastern Standard Time. After which, individual players will begin scheduling for tryouts, coaches will be scheduled for further interviews, and five man teams will be scheduled for scrims against other teams belonging to our organization.
