The Initial Championship League (ICL) is a North-American semi-pro esports league. Priding itself on passion and quality, the ICL is the premier League of Legends online event. The inaugural season aims to provide the best competition for up-and-coming teams. To keep this appreciable league functioning flawlessly, professional, dedicated, and friendly staff will be of the utmost importance.
This is a voluntary position which is optimal for any individual(s) that wish to make their first step into the world of esports, acquire more experience, or be part of a growing organization! Please note that any applicant affiliated with participating teams will have their applications denied.
Responsibilities
- Officiate scheduled matches.
- Oversee lobby and champion select process.
- Ensure lobby re-creations are executed in accordance to league rules.
- Ensure teams are abiding by the rules outlined throughout their match.
- Record and report rule violations to the assigned League Manager.
- Record matches and submit recordings to the assigned League Manager.
League Officials will receive continuous training and support from the League Managers.
Requirements
- Organized, responsible, and punctual.
- Considerable communication skills.
- Ability to function independently.
- Strong passion for esports.
- Decent comprehension of League of Legends as a game and as a competitive scene.
- Complete understanding of all ICL rules and regulations.
- Any experience working in an esports environment and/or with tournaments is a plus.
