LFG serious ranked 5s high silver/gold

Last season my mmr was high silver/low gold, but due to previously having poor internet and bad random match-ups my rank took a dive and I had to start from square one bronze. I've worked up to Silver V but am struggling to get beyond that, again due to poor random match-ups. Every other game is a troll or people just looking to have fun vs those that want to have fun and win. I take rank seriously or else I'd only play norms.
