Settling into Ranked

I am level 29 at the time of publishing this post... i hate my queue.

So i hope that when i enter ranked I will have a better experience.

It would be real great if you helped me with this experience by duo queue or adding me to a team or something.

I know i might seem like a scrub but i often have to carry my team, who after losing inhib tower, promptly ff's

I promise that i will try my hardest if u queue with me and i will appreciate anyone who makes my ranked experience a little better than i expect

You'll only learn bad habits by adding and talking to bad players. Work on the fundamentals of the game and you will get good and can carry every game by yourself. If you really need help don't do any of that just start watching the coaching videos from an ex lcs coach www.youtube.com/lastshadow9

I just watch and rewatch LCS games and listen to people commentating on whats going on. I see how decisions are made, objectives taken or protected stuff like that.

I only recently got good bcuz i was forced to play against bronze 1 to silver 1 and while it may not sound hard, for me it was a bit of a challenge

i got used to their playstyle and even tho my win rate is shit, i have fun and learn

I recommend playing a few hundred normal/TB games @ 30 before you try ranked. I also recommend picking a main role/champ you are happy being an expert on and playing anytime you can, and getting mastery-5 on at least 4 champs. The bronze ranked queues are no better than what you've been experiencing, and harder. To win, one often has to carry the game.

I'm no pro, but I'm silver 4 and i've played over 100 ranked games in S6 preseason. If you want to play some normals/TB and get some mentoring/tips on how to improve and get ready for ranked. Add me.

My advice, received from pros and reddit, is to main just one champ.

Like zed mid/top, or fizz md/jg. Become so much of an expert on that one champ you can know how to only engage what you can win. Only play other champs when you can't play that main.

Playing hundreds on games on one champ makes mechanics "automatic", freeing up your attention to learn and play the macro game.

I main trundle jungle/top, brand mid, and usually dodge otherwise. I play trundle in 80% of games. The advice to main one champ really worked.

Also, be brutal about evaluating yourself. Use op.gg or Lol Summoner Information to review your per-champ stats and only play ranked on champs you can maintain 55%+ winrate, 3+ KDA, and good farm on.

Anyhow. Feel free to add me. We can play normals, and when you get to B1 we can duo queue.
