New player looking for casual community, guild, or whatever you call it around here :)

Just started playing LoL a few months ago. I'm currently level 26. Playing Heimerdinger and really enjoy him. I could use a community so I can learn more about the game and play in a safe jerk-free environment. Admittedly I don't know much about warding, pings, etc. I am very nervous to play normal games so I've been playing against bots and the occasional ARAM. I just want to connect on some voice program where I can get advice, ask questions and maybe get some pointers here and there and play with like-minded people. Any such community exist? I've searched the forums a bit but most seem to be geared toward building teams.
