Hi everyone, I wanna apologize in advance if this is posted in the wrong place, just looked like the right place to me. Anyhow. I'm level 13 and have decided I want to main ADC, specifically Ezreal and Sivir, at least as of now, haven't tried many other yet, but I'll get there :p. So I was just wondering if anyone could teach me how to be an effective ADC? I know it may seem like a stupid question, but I really like the role and want to get really good at it, I just don't really know where to start or what to do really. Well that's about it, you can add me in game @ Neverafter, or comment here if you wanna help thanks in advance, and sorry again if this is posted in the wrong place. :x

I can't add you in game, but timing and knowing when and when not to cs is a good skill to learn, if you have stumbled a character known as blitzcrank (Arm pull guy) then you know he can be really annoying to lane against. Say if you have to move to an area where blitzcrank can grab you, you shouldn't go there if it's just for the cs (Cs being Minion kills)

Learning more than those two champions is good to do. As an adc your job is looking at and realizing how much damage you're able to do. This is requiring understanding of range on each champion. The good thing is it's generally the same, but there are exceptions, which means you get to adapt to those champs; Zed's an example. Laning phase Caitlyn's able to fire up to 650 away with auto attacks' that's higher than both of yours. Ezreal's similar though with the q and farming equally with that range-wise. Then on the other end of that lane-phase spectrum there's tristana/draven/graves. Those guys are built to kill. Both of your picks are good.

I'm not the best adc main, and you can add me if you want, though i'm not sure when i'll be able to play with you.

you're probably going to want to work on csing(last hitting the minions) and positioning first. situational item builds then maybe trading in lane trading out of lane prioritizing in team fights

you can always check out phylol's videos on youtube for some infro on adc'ing https://www.youtube.com/user/ThePhylol

I've been an adc main for quite some time now, and was taught how to adc by a plat 3. First off, wouldnt suggest trying to play Sivir in this meta. She isnt a good choice. Ez is strong though.

The most important things to learn as an adc is how to farm, and to make sure you almost always are, and to know how to position in teamfights. Granted, in lower elo's, positioning isnt as important, but knowing how will help massively. Also, learn to control the wave. I've seen sooooo many Bronze and Silver players that cant control the lane, so I get to freeze it and poke them out every time they try to farm, leaving them seriously behind in cs and xp, and usually get several kills on them from easy jungle ganks.

The most important things to learn, in order, as an AD Carry main: How to CS Positioning How to build based on need, not want Lane control Map awareness How to poke in lane Map awareness Prioritizing in teamfights Prioritizing objectives

I'm not gonna lie. ADC'ing is probably the hardest role to play in higher elo's.
