I just have a few comments on this
.#1 Surely Competeleague, whatever that is, is a flawed concept because anyone could just pretend some random silver smurf is their main quite easily?
And #2, having a team where the best player by far is the coach...? Wouldn't they just join a team in the gold, plat or diamond part of "competeleague"?
I mean at the end of the day, I can do the coaching for Bronze and Silver players right here and now... it goes as follows. Stop dying, place wards and watch your map and the enemy Jungler and learn to CS.
There you go, welcome to Gold+. I mean sure, there is a little more depth to it than that. But there really isn't much at bronze - silver level!
And coaches, if they're any good, would get you to gold as long as you listen anyway, defeating the point because then you wouldn't even be able to play in "competeleague" in the bronze-silver bracket". And that's assuming the coach coached you in mechanics... not something the coach should actually be doing.
You don't need coaches at this level simply, coaches are for teams who are already damn good, and are fighting the best. The coaches aren't coaching mechanics, they are coaching the map. The mechanics are a given for teams which need coaches.
If the player has bronze mechanics, bronze map awareness etc the last thing you need is a coach to coach things beyond mechanics, because without the foundation of mechanics and solo queue skill a coach can't do anything. No point explaining how and when to rotate if the bot lane has 40cs at 20 minutes and 10 deaths.
Effectively what you're asking for is someone to teach 10 bronze - silver players League of Legends, for free. Which is more than a full time job.
Anything less than that and it would be completely pointless and ineffective.
And as I said earlier, even if they did that, you'd just end up gold and not even be able to compete anymore.
So there is no point having a coach, especially a higher elo coach, because you won't even be in silver and bronze anymore if they actually do anything.
