Vertex.US looking to start up a League of Legends team

Vertex.US is currently a team that is looking to expand and become an organization we have a CS:GO and Call of Duty team which both are starting to have more and more success each and every single day. There are 2 owners of the team myself and a long time friend of mine who fund the teams in tournaments and events. I am looking for all roles for this team, players must be ranked atleast gold+ in solo queue or have valid proof of them being good enough to face plat+ teams. I plan on getting a roster that I can test by entering a TMG amatuer league or something along those lines and once the team gets to the point where I feel they can win paid tournaments and leagues we will fund the team to play in them and along with that once we hit that point contracts will be given to the players so they know what they receive as payments. This can lead to a fully contracted salary wage for players if it gets to the point we feel fit. Our Call of Duty team has contracts for paid entry tournaments they have won over 8000$ as a team of 4 in the last 2 1/2 months from just online tournaments and they will be attending a LAN event in which first place is estimated to be 50,000$ in August.

Age: 17 Role: Support Rank: Gold 5 Top 5 champs for that role: Nami, Nautilus, Lulu, Janna, Sona Strengths: Vision control, shot calling, setting up plays, I don't tilt easily Weaknesses: Can not land an Alistar combo on purpose (lol), sometimes can get greedy Availability: I am still in school so after August third I can give a schedule of my availability weekly, but as for right now basically 24/7. (except tomorrow I have a surgery at 11:30 am pst) Prior Ranked 5's experience: Have played on a few other teams, I shot called for my last two teams we ranked silver and disbanded due to lack of synergy between players. Thoughts on criticism: I take criticism well when it is delivered kindly, and I think it is an important aspect in improving. Why I should choose you: To sound extremely cocky, I think I am one of the best supports in my elo and I am willing and ready to improve. Also I make some pretty badass league puns.

Age: 18 Role: AD Rank: Plat 3 Top 5: Cait, Ashe, Jhin, Luc, Jinx Strengths: Good @ kiting and team fights as well as positioning Weaknesses: Transitioning into late game Availability: days i dont work (Im available almost always my work hours are very odd) Prior Ranked 5's: One team i got to gold 2... not very good but ive played many hours on 5s Thoughts on criticism: always helpful, always accepted Why I should choose you: I plan to be a great adc among the top NA, you wont be disappointed with the choice as I plan to bring a lot to my team to strive for success.

Age: 16 Role: Top lane Rank: Plat III Top five champs: Renekton, irellia, Pantheon, Trundle, Maomao Strengths: Consistency, Ability to make strong teleport ganks, and enough knowledge to win or go even in the majority of lanes Weaknesses: Poor shot calling, Not being able to find enough farm mid to late game Availability: Everyday Thoughts on criticism: Always welcome after game, As a player who constantly looks for ways to improve, This is one of the best ways to get new ideas or identity errors. Prior ranked fives experience: I've played on a few teams prior, I've also coached a team at one point. These experiences have went over well, but often things out of my control such as certain players not getting along often caused teams to end Why should I choose you: As someone who constantly pushes themselves to improve, a team environment is somewhere I can thrive. I believe that my game knowledge, formerly being a coach, and awesome puns would help make a positive team environment. I also believe that any opportunity like this should be wasted, and that my fullest of effort will be put into making this team a place I like to call, home.

Age: 20 Role: ADC Rank: Currently Plat 4 (on stealthreaper209, I use my league forum name account to play with family and friends)

Top 5 champs for that role: Miss Fortune, Twitch, Vayne, Ezreal, Lucian

Strengths: CS'ing (under tower and freezing/pushing), positioning, trading with enemy, attention to ults/summoners being used, being aware of the map and having good game knowledge allows me to predict enemy movements often, and being able to come back if I do bad early

Weaknesses: Sometimes do not group at optimal times (ie. farming side lane and then a fight breaks out), get greedy (stay to cs after a kill resulting in my death)

Availability: MTWThF - after 7PM PST, Sat - after 1, Sun - all day

Prior Ranked 5's experience: Couple of ranked 5's teams, however the players were not all serious about ranking up

Thoughts on criticism: Definitely a need when you want to improve. I compare it to writing an essay. It is more effective to have someone else edit your paper, than have yourself edit it. I believe that an individual can not see all of their own mistakes, and another must be there to give them some guidance.

Why I should choose you: I will take all help seriously because I would like to improve my game play. With my game knowledge, I can help think of team comps that have synergy and that can excel in a certain type of playstyle (seiging comp, all-in comp, kiting comp, etc). This is an invaluable skill when it comes to champ select. As the enemy team is picking their champions, it is essential to be able to build a team comp that can effectively combat the other teams and allows our team to know the win conditions for the match. Having that knowledge also allows me to be a shotcaller in games. Knowing if it is better to have someone split push, to seige, or to stall can make or break the game.

Strengths: Build / laning phase / calling out ults or sums used / warding objectives

Weaknesses: roaming early / mid game for setting up ganks

Availability: Any time right now, while looking for job.

Prior Ranked 5's experience: Have played on several teams / groups over the past year some more serious than others. However, I would like to experience playing at a higher level and potential try for the dream we all have.

Thoughts on criticism: I welcome it. If it helps me grow and perform stronger for my team then tell me. The only way to grow is if somebody tells me I am not doing something right. I usually will take that with a grain of salt and look to understand what I am messing up and why.

Why I should choose you: I feel my overall skill growing every game I play. I watch pro play more than it should be allowed, or is healthy for anybody to do. So I have a general understanding of how the "meta" is evolving throughout a particular season. I usually will try to bring this knowledge into champ select before games and banning champions that I have seen to have really strong potential during different stages of the game. I also use these VODs to update my build on my champions due to what is or is not considered strong right now.
