Competition. This is what really made LoL what it is today. We all strive to compete and improve. "I want to hit diamond this season," one may say. But if we're honest, ranked often is frustrating. You may drop a rank, get a troll/afk, and simply get frustrated. However, you want to get to the next tier/division, so you keep queuing. Improvement and competition are great, but LoL should also be fun.
#Introducing FB's Solo League.
In First Blood, we have our own ranked ladder that is fun and competitive consisting of players that are gold up to masters players that frequently play. Prove your skill, develop your LoL skills, and have fun/make friends while doing so.
So how does it work? More Information here but generally, solo league mods host games, people post their ingame name, and first 10 get put into a custom game, highest 2 ranked players become captains and teams are drafted based on the captains assembling their teams. Based upon the game results, the ranked ladder (kept in Excel) is updated accordingly. At the end of our seasons, rewards are given out based on top ranks.
