**::::IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:::: Due to technical difficulties that are the result of Patch 5.3 Tryouts which were originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday (2/13-2/14) have been moved to Saturday and Sunday (2/14-2/15). ArchAngels Gaming is a newly formed serious ranked team which is partnered with Vigorous Gaming. ArchAngels Gaming will be comprised of both a 5v5 Team and a 3v3 Team. Please do not leave an application below if you are not a serious and dedicated player.

Currently Recruiting the Following Lanes:

  • Top
  • Jungle
  • Mid
  • ADC
  • 3v3 Team
  • Manager

Requirements:

  • No raging
  • Be able to play three meta champions in your lane effectively
  • Be able to play two unconventional champions in your lane effectively
  • Be willing to learn new champions in your lane and practice with them until you can play them effectively
  • Knowledge of the jungle (REQUIRED FOR ALL PLAYERS)
  • Basic game knowledge (i.e. ward placement, jungle timers, inhibitor timers, etc.)
  • Knowledge of all lanes (REQUIRED FOR ALL PLAYERS)
  • List sona as one of your meta champions if you have read the application
  • Be able to commit to scheduled practice times (failure to attend scheduled practices will result in removal from the team unless 24 hour notice is given or there is an emergency)
  • Be able to use TS3 voice services
  • Give a form of contact other than League of Legends chat
  • There is no elo requirement

Weaknesses:Teamfights:Positioning in teamfights and overall teamfighting. Why should we pick you:I am capable of learning from my mistakes and can take constructive criticism. I am a nice person. Anything else you think we should be aware of:I have played on a diamond/plat team with high diamond mmr. I played like 75 games with them so they knew I was at that level. I have high normal mmr so I play with diamond players all the time to get better at the game. I think I play at a higher level then where I am at now.

Which Team: WILDCATS. I mean 5v5

Lane: support / mid

Meta Champion Picks: Morgana, Janna, Sona(I have more) for support. Orianna, Diana, Yasuo (I have more) for mid.

Unconventional Champion Picks: Maokai and Kayle (I have more) for support. Anivia and zilean for mid.

Strengths: ward placement. commitment to adc's survival (dying). agression without over extending and dying. Morgana's Q (UNcommon but At times able to land every snare for the next 5min". Practically on everyday for at least 1 hour. Night and midnight hours.

Weaknesses: uncommon but low map awareness. very rare but i can be over agressive. semi uncommon during evening and rare during all other times but tendency to disconnect/lag. "if disconnection, reconnetion time is 3-5 min". Very uncommon but able to miss every snare for the next 5min. evenings and afternoons.

Why should we pick you: Strong communication, ward control, strong support mechanics. Fed adc 78-93% of games

Anything else you think we should be aware of: I do not have teamspeak due to the fact of owning a mac. i do own skype. planning on selling my mac sometime soon for a Windows. sunday-thrusday i get off at 8pm PST.

IGN: HKG Frank Age: 16 Which Team:5s Lane: Top Meta Champion Picks: Sona, Renekton, Lissandra, Maokai, and currently mastering RIven. Unconventional Champion Picks: Jayce, Urgot, Casseopeia, Strengths: Very goo at vision and objective control, and I can position myself in fights well, and It doesnt take long for me to learn a new champion. Weaknesses: I have a tendency to overestimate myself sometimes, but i am working on that. Why should we pick you: I will work hard, and If i agree to a schedule i will 100% be there, unless there is an emergency Anything else you think we should be aware of: I am in highschool so my hours are limited, and I am also Staff on a teamspeak server so if we need somewhere to practice im sure I can get us a room. And with being staff, I have preexisting commitments and certain times i am not available certain hours of the weekend because of this.

I have experience running a team and have placed in a couple of amateur tournaments Anything else you think we should be aware of: I am a college student, I dedicate a lot of time to League and my teams but there may be times when school has to come first. Strengths: I've on and off played top lane for a couple of teams in the past, so i am accustomed to listening to what our shot caller says meaning i engage when we agree on it and disengage when told to do so. I also have experience with lane swapping meaning staying safe while picking up any bit of exp i can. I like to pressure my lane to bring the attention of the enemy jungler to try and give my other lanes breathing space however i always try and keep myself safe to ensure no unwanted deaths happen when he does head top. My feelings don't get hurt very easily (anyone at my age should have a thick skin IMO) so i take criticism very well.

Weaknesses: I can sometimes get greedy with summoner spells and sometimes pay with my life. I can sometimes get put on tilt if i lose lane on my own. When out of laning phase, very rarely, my map awareness can be a bit skittish at times.

Why should we pick you: Experience with previous teams, can usually win lane or at least try my best to break even.

Anything else you think we should be aware of: Im working with the best i can since i had to sell my previous computer when some unforeseen events occurred so ive tried to stick to using skype. However from what ive seen i can run Teamspeak fine but im not too sure as i haven't tested it out for prolonged periods of time.

Strengths: I have 3 years of management experience. I managed a department of fifteen workers, so i have experience in scheduling and keeping track of requested days off and any special circumstances for any of the staff. I am well organized and usually expect the same of others to a certain degree. I used to have to dismiss workers so i am accustomed at "being the bearer of bad news" in that sense.

Weaknesses: Because of my previous employment history i am not a very big fan of people being tardy so im usually pretty OCD when it comes to scheduled meetings/practices etc..

Why should we pick you: I'm a pretty self driven individual and will always try to give my best. Im a pretty well organized individual. I love cats.

Anything else you think we should be aware of: I am currently unemployed so when i do find a job i will have to discuss my available times, but until then im pretty much free whenever. (This applies to my previous application as well.)
