Hi there, my name is Glitch, I represent the LoL team for Sway Gaming. We are in the process of restructuring our roster, and applicants that really fit what we are looking for will be contacted and we will inform you to our current situation and goals.

I'm really looking for a support I can grow with. I am a relatively quiet, aggressive push ADC player in lane, so I'm looking for a support that can match that early aggression. Some of my weaknesses are vision control and side lane pushes in the mid game. What I'd really like is a support that can help shore up those weaknesses as a player, and be the other half in my lane to make us unstoppable. Someone vocal that can guide me to better choices, but also watch my back and keep me safe to the best of their ability.

We are looking for players Plat 5 and above. The reason for this rank requirement leads into why we are recruiting; our team will be making a run to get into House Party this January. For those of you that may not have heard about HP5v5, they are a very successfully run "LCS for the rest of us" with a flourished 10 team Premier League, and a 10 team Minor League that could use some more consistent, dedicated rostered teams to help elevate the teams currently participating into a more active state.

For this reason, we are looking for equally dedicated players to fill the rest of our roster to make this run into the Minor League (competition is stiff) and help us grow into a great team to make the Premier League for their next season.

Applicants that main the roles we are seeking will have a higher priority for tryouts than those that do not, but I will do my best to reach out to everyone that applies. Players over 18 will receive priority over those below 18.

Current Roster:

  • Top - Lupi (Gold 3)
  • Jungle - A Social System (Plat 4)
  • Mid - xForged (Gold 2)
  • ADC - GlitchZero (Plat 4)
  • Support - OPEN (???)

And Subs:

  • Sub - DankMemez (Gold 1)
  • Sub - OPEN (???)

In terms of communication, having a smartphone is mandatory, as we use a group chat app to communicate outside of League. A Twitter account is also mandatory for organizational purposes.

Practices are from 8pm EST to 12am EST 4 days a week depending on work schedules / availabilities - usually Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. We also play in a handful of online tournaments, which are usually Friday nights / Saturday all-day events. Please do not post if this is not possible for you.

We are seeking highly committed players, and overall do not have an excessive practice schedule. If it is outside of your availability, please do not fill out an application. We do not place members on roster based on skill, but overall synergy with the team, and how well communication and play style fit with what we’re looking for as a team.

I am interested in people who are strongly committed to improving themselves and improving as a team, and if this sounds like you, I strongly implore you to fill out this application below so we can get you involved as soon as possible.

I bring vision control all across the map w/ deep warding and objective control. I also bring the engages as well as the peels. List off a known weakness you'd like to improve on: I have been working on most weakness's so as a support I dont believe I have one. The only weakness right now would be roaming. I tend to like to roam to mid or so far as top to help get a kill and need to get better at the right times to do that so the adc isnt left out. It's not that I want to be on just any team. I've been on plenty of teams. I want to be on a DEDICATED team because I'm tired of solo que with trolls and afk'ers and just flat out shitty adc's who don't listen when a play should happen.
What do you feel you bring to the team? Typically when I i have an adc that can listen I can feed that adc like crazy and just snowball lane. I have great communication, warding comes naturally and avoiding ganks is my specialty. I like to discuss champion selection because I believe it is a critically underestimated part of the game at my level. I main support and play it often as it goes uncalled as I fill. I've dabbled in every support and non-traditional supports. Im online often. You know, playing alone as support is really lonely. I want to be with an active team and create new friends while making some long-lasting memories. I want to improve individually and as a team. What do you feel you bring to the team? I feel like I can fill in the spot missing because I tend to get along with others and I usually never argue because I don't like to fight .-. I can bring in new ideas and tactics to the team while always being there as a player to be able to play. List off a known weakness you'd like to improve on: I don't usually tend to play supports like Nami/Janna because they don't have as much action as the others. So I will be trying my best to play more of these types of champs and learning. Prior Team Experience: I'm the club president/founder of my High School's LoL club and I am also the support for the main competitive team. We'll be heading into tournaments like HSL this year so I've Availability: Basically the majority of the day because I'm in active gamer and usually tend to play than anything else. •Why do you want to join the team? I own Serpentis eSports, but I don't want people think I'm on that team just because I own it. So I'm looking for competitive players around my elo where I can and help them grow.

•What do you feel you bring to the team? I think I could bring knowledge, dedication, and a positive attitude 98% of the time. I have a diverse champion pool and can play almost any champion in this role well. Ie: Maokai, Sejuani, Ziggs, Viktor just to name a few. Can create competitive mismatches with Champion pool. I generally make good decisions, and can help the team as the primary shot caller or secondary shotcaller. I also echo targets in team fights.

•List off a known weakness you'd like to improve on: Mechanics. Ive made some strides, but I have tended to struggle when against mid to high diamond players when they have a clear mechanical advantage.

•Prior Team Experience: I've coached platinum level teams, as well as played for platinum level teams. I've also subbed for Diamond teams.
