New Amatuer League Sign Up (Begins July 15th)
Hello everyone, I am narter4. I am the founder of a league community called BeastsOfPrey, and we are going to start our first amateur league soon. The league will beginning on the 15th of July, and we are currently beginning team sign ups for it. If you are interested in a league and have a team, come to the google forms to sign up. Rules our as follows
Currently our rules are pretty simple. No smurfing, and no toxicity (basically don't be an ass). Currently, the active roster (actual players in the game) must follow our 28 point balance structure.
The skill-level ranking system we have takes all League of Legends ranks and distributes them across 7 tiers, and each tier has a point cost that adds into your active roster's pool.
This point system is designed so that teams make a balanced team and we expect point values of players to change by ranking up as the league progresses. As long as team rosters are consistent with the players they started with it is legal to go over the cap eventually. This is only to happen if a team say has 27 points and a player gets into plat and bumps their team up a few points. (in order to give credit, we did not come up with this system, the summoners league did). Currently the ranking point-costs are as follows:
Tier 7 - 2 Points - Bronze 5 to Bronze 3
Tier 6 - 3 Points - Bronze 2 to Silver 3
Tier 5 - 4 Points - Silver 2 to Gold 5
Tier 4 - 5 Points - Gold 4 to Gold 1
Tier 3 - 7 Points - Platinum 5 to Platinum 3
Tier 2 - 10 Points - Platinum 2 to Diamond 5
Tier 1 - 13 Points - Diamond 4+
Teams Get 28 points when making a team. These points are used to purchase your team players so to speak. you can go under 28 but not over.
Teams can go up to 9 players total on the roster.
