So straight out the gate 3 ies are not the build my man lol, since tri no longer gives crit but is too god tier of an item on him to drop you go armor pen instead, i personally prefer
into
after my tri force to let me hit hard althrough the mid and late game while still giving me lots of move speed and the option to just q someone or even auto attack them, as for runes i just re ad reds and quints, armor yellows and scaling mr blues cause im a greedy fuck who doesnt get a mid game
for my keystone ill take grasp just to help with some sustain and extra damage off the q in case im in a bad lane, thunderlords could work with your ult but it gives you a shit time in lane so i personally despise it since you dont need more damage late game just a better way to get there. as for boots ill typically run
just to let me get my tp and my cd's up faster and cap me for 40 cdr (45 if you wanna run thunderlords) the only other option ill ever go with is
because you should be able to outdamage anyone who needs to auto attack and you have the orange for cc. early game ill start with the
and then back early for a
to help me rush through my tri force and into one shotting the back line of minions for more gold to get my ult upgraded earlier, in lane you wanna try and set up your barrels to help you escape ganks. what i mean is not using them to shove the wave or get that extra gold on your parley youll have plenty of time for that later. against a tank dont try to be over aggressive just farm it out and use your q to get minions more often instead of trade, you can reach past a tank to one shot a carry there just meant to block you, against a fighter like jax dont fight them past level 3. your damage isnt that great in a long trade and most times they will blow you up surprisingly. assassins like zed or akali just trade with them extremely often, your oranges will sustain you and if you can get a kill off them early and get a fast sheen youll shove them out of the lane and the game later on. once your 6 keep an eye on bot lane and let them know you're watching them to ult them, mid lane isnt as important for your ult because jungle pressure is so much more usefull mid than bot so getting your bot lane to snowball will make it much harder for the enemy jungler to do anything against them unless the mid laner and jungler roam down which in that case you still have the ult to help peel off so its a win win no matter what. once out of lane its your job to keep side lanes pushed up and both raptors taken, once you have tri you can barrel the raptors over the wall and kill the small 3 instantly for 9 gold on your ult which adds up nicely and keeps you snowballing as fast as possible. the first upgrade ill always go is the faster damage over time one, the move speed isnt that helpful and the giant true damage ball isnt great until 4 items if it even hits. always try to save your ut mid and late game as a reactionary thing like a rumble ult. if you try to use it to initiate it isnt going to work and the enemy team will immediately peel off it and refuse to fight you're team giving you another 90 seconds before you can use that amazing ult again. late game all you're looking to do is sit on the side of your team and try to tag the enemy back line with a barrel, it sounds selfish but your still squishy as hell and a jinx or jhin will pop you if you cant get your barrel to hit them first. Theres not much else to tell ward up swap to blue trinket at 9 and spam out the wards and always try to get your jungler or mid laner to help you with the rift herald as it dodes proc on your q and does nice damage. if you have any other questions add me in game IGN: suna no tate
