Hey guys as a fellow night owl, I always play before and after the patch since I'm up at this time. They usually say they estimate either 3 hours or 6 hours. This time it says 6 hours but honestly I've seen it take only 30 minutes to an hour most of the time. They just allow that time just in-case anything goes wrong.

At 03:00 PST, the servers will be shut down and all games currently in progress will end in a draw and stats will not be recorded. We estimate the battlegrounds will be unavailable for 6 hours.

They are still down for me as well. You can get the patch by switching to EU west server so that you can play as soon as they come back up, but can't actually log in on any other server.
