I don't think I'm good enough to join you guys, but I think it's fantastic what you're doing and I wish you the best of luck here in NA!

While slightly off topic, noting the comments about skill level differences I would be happy to help you put those to rest.

Join us for one of our open or semi-pro tournaments (www.notsostock.ca) once you get to NA and see how you compare to the other players looking to make/maintain challenger in 5's on the NA server

Interesting proposal, we will discuss it.

Challenger Solo Q in LAN is probably like D4/D5 skill level, Challenger 5v5 is probably Platinum in NA l0l

Maybe, we played against teams like Tesla Gaming, Lyon Gaming (IEM San Jose competitor), etc. I don't think your assessment is fair considering the amount of talent that has went to LAN due to the better ping. I can also say that plenty of challenger solo que LAN players are Master/Diamond 2+ NA.

Edit: You are just perpetuating a stereotypical view on something that you probably know nothing about. However it is a fair assessment to say that LAN platinum = Low gold/silver in most regions. I think as you move closer to the top in any region you will find that they are typically smurfs from other more respected regions, or adequately skilled players deserving of their high rank.

I have to agree with this sentiment. While I think it is probably safe to say that the lower ranking in LAN might be skewed, there has been little difference as far as the top level of play, in my observation. Just because they don't have any LCS representation doesn't mean there aren't formidable teams there. As you may recall, there was a time when China and Korea would have been considered backwaters by the league community, especially after their incredibly bad showing in season one. Hard to find someone who would say that now.

If your team is serious, I would love to work with you guys. While I, obviously, am not a high enough quality player to be of use in game, I have worked for the last year as a coach/analyst for multiple diamond teams in NA, and would love to help you guys with post-game analysis and the overall high strategy of the game. I also can offer you a few decent scrim partners, though that's not something that's usually all too hard to find in NA, I've gotten most of them just from playing formidable teams in 5's.

My IGN is the same in game as it is here. I'll probably add one of you, and see if I can be of service. If not, I wish you all the best of luck in your attempt to prove fools like the above wrong about LAN.

I apologize if my manner of speech seemed insulting, but I personally know a NA player who achieved Rank 1 on LAN server whilst being high D1 in NA solo queue pre-Masters. I also know plenty of mid D1 NA solo queues (again, pre-Master) who achieved 800+ LP Challenger on LAN (Top 15~ at the time) within 150 games. Again, I apologize if I offended you, but it is a widely agreed upon fact throughout the NA high elo community that LAN Challenger Solo Queue. much less Challenger 5s, is not difficult to achieve.

D1 high LP pre master would be fairly equivalent to low challenger though NA. You looked like you were saying it would be equivalent to diamond 4 / 5 when it wasn't quite like that. I also think today it is a lot different, but I appreciate you clarifying friend. Best of luck on the fields of justice (Not even sure if they still have that with the lore changes lol).
