Ranked 5v5's Team looking for a coach.
We are currently a Diamond 5 Ranked 5's team. We have climbed from Gold IV (Where we were placed) to Diamond 5 in a matter of weeks. But we are currently lacking in the ability to play against teams that have proper rotations and proper coordination. Also, our current "Captain" has been acting as all; the coach,shot-caller,and manager. So we don't get any external feedback and have only been working on team-based skills.
So, In regards to this we are currently looking for a coach to improve our play. I'm going to set a minimum requirements. Experience: I am requesting you have past experience at coaching. This is not a MUST requirement, but rather a personal request. You may still apply. Personality: Self explanatory. I would like to just talk with you, this is not an interview but, ya'know I gotta like ya'. Time: We play on the East Coast (EST) and would like someone who can meet practice/tourny dates. Or at least some of them. Pay: We will not pay you : ( Sorry, we are not good enough to pay for a coach
EDIT A coach's main role would be to be an authority the team follows and uses that structures and betters the team. I would like the coach to be able to reflect on player mistakes and help them improve. Its very hard to tell a teammate they played a certain scenario wrong or they should have done ____.
- Go over video of past performance and highlight areas of improvement
- Develop overall team strategy and morale
- Work on both macro and micro levels of game-play and help fix or identify the problems
- Work on building team comps
- Overall coordinate and further the team
Edit2 I'm dropping the rank requirement due to low number of coaches emailing me. And the low number of ones that have were basically trolling. RIP. The crieteria will now be solely based off of coaching skill and knowledge.
