I hate how the new announcer...
doesn't say "victory" or "defeat". That makes no sense to me. Every announcement is voiced over by the GP voice EXCEPT the "victory" and "defeat" ones. Did they just overlook it or what?

Seems so.
A pity because the whole voice pack is imo well made. For instance "Your mates' feeding the fishes" is more immersive/emtional/fun for me than "An ally has been slain"
I would so like this voice to be on the Red side and keep the original announcer for Blue
Would fix everything if they just made the announcer have Taylor Swift's voice.

Give us an announcer that gives us very clear instructions about what is going on. we don't need a cheerleader, we need concise audio queues.
