Learn More: Lunar Revel 2018 Event

The Lunar Revel 2018 event is now live until February 19, 2018, at 11:59 PM PT. There are a few new things to cover before we get into the crafting tables:

Win a matchmade game to complete the “Arrival of the Demigods” mission, which will grant you the Year of the Dog Icon and access to the mission lines. You do NOT need to equip a Lunar Revel icon. Complete missions to earn Revel Tokens, which can be exchanged for loot rewards.

You can earn up to 96 Revel Tokens through missions. That’s enough for a Golden Revel Token, so if you’ve got your eye on one of the new Golden Chromas, you’ll want to save up.

Golden Chromas require the corresponding base skin to use and each one costs one Golden Revel Token. Golden Chromas can be crafted for Lunar Wraith Caitlyn, Guqin Sona, Dragonwing Corki, Warring Kingdoms Katarina, Warring Kingdoms Garen, and Dragonblade Riven. If you forge the Golden Chroma when you do NOT have the corresponding skin, you will obtain the icon and chroma, but the chroma will not be usable until you’ve got the skin.

You can also exchange one Golden Revel Token for a Revel Orb, but we only included that option so you’d have an outlet for them if you really didn’t want a Golden Chroma. If you want to get a Revel Orb without spending RP, and you aren’t interested in the Golden Chromas, then you’re better off crafting Revel Orbs for 44 Revel Tokens each.

Individual borders for Lunar Empress Lux, Lunar Guardian Nasus, and Lunar Guardian Warwick can be obtained through loot for 64 Revel Tokens, or through the border bundles in the store. Each border comes with a matching icon and grants the border for one skin (not all three).

The Revel Grab Bag contains five skin shards, one from every skin tier up to (and including) Legendary. That’s a 520, a 750, a 975, a 1350 (Epic), and an 1820 (Legendary). The Revel Grab Bag is included in the Legendary Lunar Revel Loot Bundle, although it may also drop from a Revel Orb.

The Revel Orb contains one skin shard, with a chance to contain a Revel Grab Bag, Golden Revel Token, Gemstone, or Gemstone Skin Shard. To protect from bad luck, it guarantees a 975+ shard every 3 rolls.

The Revel Skin Shard contains one Lunar Revel Skin Shard. It does not include Lunar Guardian Nasus, Lunar Guardian Warwick, or Lunar Empress Lux.
