Worlds Pick’em is Coming!

Pick’em is returning for the 2019 World Championship! Go head-to-head against friends, casters and the rest of the League community to see who really knows their stuff or is blessed with luck. If your picks pan out, you’ll walk away with an exclusive Pick’em Poro icon and if you’re actually a prophet and get every single pick correct, you’ll snag every Ultimate skin in the game!

Pick’em will be live for the Group Stage and Knockout Stage, and each stage will have a corresponding in-game mission.

Group Stage: Brackets and mission available on October 9 at 11:00 AM PT. Mission must be completed before the start of Group Stage games on October 11 at 11:00 PM PT.
Knockout Stage: Brackets and mission available on October 21 at 11:00 AM PT. Mission must be completed before the start of Knockout Stage games on October 25 at 11:00 PM PT.

Prizes

Pick’em Poro Icon

A new Poro summoner icon is up for grabs… if you do well enough! If you score at least 34 points during Pick’em, you’ll receive the Worlds Pick’em Master Poro icon.

Blue Essence

Simply completing your brackets for Group Stage and Knockouts will reward 500 Blue Essence each!

Ultimate Skins

If you’re the kind of person who crits 100% of the time with Brawler’s Gloves and can see through time and space, you’ll be rewarded with all Ultimate skins for getting every single pick correct! This includes: Elementalist Lux, Pulsefire Ezreal, Spirit Guard Udyr, DJ Sona, and Gun Goddess Miss Fortune.

Yeah Riot set a high bar last year with Worlds, Rise and KDA were both amazing!!!! I don't think we'll get another music line this year but I'm really hoping for a good worlds song!! xD

Would it be possible to get Blue Essence or something instead? Some people have no use for Orange Essence and 5 skin shards only crafts one random skin. Or possibly get something like Rusted Blitzcrank?

for how often people actually get every single bracket correct they probably dont worry too much about it and this kind of situation, itd be nice if they just traded the ones you own into RP tho, even like a percentage of the ultimate skins RP, 33% of an ulti skins value is a 1350 skin or really close right?

I personally think that if you have a perfect pick'em, you should be able to pick any skin in the game you want... including limited skins, victorious skins, pax skins, beta skins. any skin that was ever made.

yeah, no lmfao, thats a bit much, victorious skins were given to players who earned it at the time, you cant just bring stuff like that back just "because". And yeah i get that the odds of winning are astronomical, but still, they shouldn't be brought back in any way.

Almost any skin. Any skin that was available for purchase in the past should be an option. No victorious or pax skins though

Except no. The original purpose of the Prestige skin line was to be a "collectors" skin that is very hard to obtain that you have to put in massive amounts of time to work for. Just because you CAN splurge money to get them instantly (which is what Riot even says is possible; "Players can always use event loot purchases as a way to supplement their token earn rates") doesn't mean that that was Riot's original purpose of the series. Or at least the verbal purpose that they conveyed.
