#A Corporate Matter Episode: Vogue One Hundred, A Corporate Story

Azir "I sense a disturbance in the sand."

Yorick "What could it mean?"

Azir "WOAH, HOLY FAKE PERSON TARKIN!"

Yorick "Huh, what did I do?"

Azir "You died years ago. Get out of here with that CGI crap. Bringing Champions back from the dead with computers, not right. Thing didn't even look like Yorick. SOMEONE GET ME A REAL SERVANT, I FEEL WEIRD TALKING TO MYSELF!"

MasterYi "Y-y-yes Seth, you called?"

Azir "You bet I did. I need someone to vent to. I sensed some great threat in the sand. I fear a team of elite saboteurs has come to destroy everything we have worked on here."

Meanwhile:

Graves "Are you sure you know where we are going?"

Irelia "Of course I do. I just need to get my bearings. It's hard navigating games. Now, was Dawngate before or after Heroes of Newerth?

LeeSin "I'm pretty sure it was over by Dota 2. Just take a left up here."

Irelia "Oh yeah, right."

Ezreal "Why are we taking directions from the blind hobo?"

Blitzcrank "Ha, I won again! You really are terrible at this game."

DrMundo "Mundo lose?** MUNDO NO LIKE TO LOSE!**" "Cleaves both of Blitzcrank's arms off."

Blitzcrank "Now that's just rude."

Graves "Always let the Mundo win, kid."

Ezreal "So, is there going to be anyone trying to stop us. Or is this just going to be another walk on the runway?"

Irelia "Sadly it's not going to be that easy. The Dawngate plans are being held by Seth the Sand Mage. Rumor has it that they are going to make sure he is the next champion in League in exchange for guarding them."

Meanwhile:

MasterYi "So I have to ask, why are we the ones protecting Dawngate? Why not hire their own guys to do it?"

Azir "Because, this story is only about League of Legends. So everyone in it must be from it too. Except for that one weird time that a couple of people from Overwatch showed up. Also, EA prefers getting others to do their work from them."

MasterYi "Makes sense. So, any idea when an attack might come?"

Irelia "Right now sucker!"

MasterYi "Oh jeez, I was hoping it wouldn't be this soon."

Azir "STOP RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE! NO ONE TOUCHES THE DAWNGATE PLANS AS LONG AS I STAND HERE! YOU WILL N-" "Gets shot down."

Graves "Everyones always all high and mighty, till you shoot off a limb or two."

Azir "Ughhhh, sand soldiers, Yi, ATTACK!"

MasterYi "I will not let you pass."

Irelia "Well, it appears I'm at full health, but so are you. Which means I can still stun you for ten years. CAUSE THATS HOW FAIRNESS WORKS!"

MasterYi "Rito, why....." "Gets stunned for an indefinite amount of time."

Ezreal "There are too many sand soldiers, and I broke a nail. How can someone fight like this?"

Blitzcrank "Maybe if you would let me use that magic gauntlet, we could get through this."

Ezreal "No way! You are a robot, robots don't get to shoot people. It's the law, or something. Besides, knowing your sassy butt, you might just slap me with it."

LeeSin "Alright, there's no way we can get through this. Let's just accept our defeat and leave."

DrMundo "Blind hobo man, Mundo maybe talk about you get job too if help get plans. It pay boatload money."

Azir "WAIT! Don't go, join me. Together, we can side with EA and rule the mobas together."

Irelia "We are never coming over to the dark side with you."

DrMundo "Now Mundo put the ax to you." "Chops Azir."

Irelia "Seth the Sand Mage will never get in the League of Legends."

Azir "Maybe not, but I will make it, even if I have to do it under another name and it takes me years. I WILL RETURN!"

Jayce "Woo, we did it team. Another successful mission."

Irelia "Jayce? What are you doing here?"

Jayce "Well, this is the one-hundredth episode. And I'm the one-hundredth champion. So I thought it made sense."

Irelia "Yeah, but this is a prequel. There aren't a hundred champions here. You're not even supposed to exist yet."

Jayce "Well then, why is Azir here?"

Irelia "That's Seth, that's what everyone called Azir when they started making him around this time."

Jayce "Oh, alright. I guess I'll go and stop making plot holes."

Irelia "Do you wanna join the team?"

Jayce "Yes please!"

Irelia "Alright, I guess we can make an exception this time."

DrMundo "Yay, Mundo make new friend. Which me will have leave in gutter after me get high pay job."

Irelia "I trust you guys can deliver the plans safely?"

Ezreal "Yes, I'm sure these boys can handle it. But Princess Ireleia dear, are you not coming with us?"

Irelia "Not anymore. I had enough left in me for one last mission. But I've been at this for so many years. It's time I stopped and went home. I will never forget you, Vogue One Hundred. May the cash be with you.

(That's it, the season four finale. And as you may have guessed, the one-hundredth episode. It feels great to make it to triple digits, thanks to you guys. A Corporate Matter will return with season five on January 30th. Until then, glhf.)

[slayer-jinx-unamused] I remain very disappointed we're back to no additional Supports; only 2 just isn't enough for good team compositions with the playerbase League of Legends has, ESPECIALLY WITH AUTOFILL ENABLED. While Brand and Blitzcrank were bad picks for the list, the rest of the list was pretty solid and made for better games IMO, especially SonaSona and TaricTaric which are relatively new-player-friendly and don't lend themselves to stealing CS. While a full extra 10 isn't necessary, I think at least 2-6 extra slots to provide a better variety of Supports and account for the ever-increasing number of champions is a really good idea that should be implemented permanently.

I think simply fixing the # of champions in the free rotation at 10% rounding up of the number of total champions would strike a good balance going forward. 14 for now with 6 of the slots dedicated to serious Supports, rising to 15 sometime in 2017-2018 when champion 141 comes out. Probably keeping the % of Support slots roughly proportional... around 3/8ths perhaps? Attention should probably be given to ensuring there's always a tank Support, a heal-ally Support, a strong shield-ally Support, and a Crowd Control-heavy Support (it usually won't take 4 champions to fill all these slots since there's a fair bit of overlap, such as with Morgana being strong in both CC and shielding,) and that at least 2 of the 6 Support champions are highly new-player-friendly.

I believe this will strike a fair balance between consistently giving users enough options to play Support when they get Autofilled while still selling Support champions to people who grow attached to them. That's the main reason I'm not suggesting keeping the rotation at 10 Supports long-term (though I'd be OK with that) - there aren't really enough Support champions to fulfill quite so many without severely devaluing buying any of them. That is something however that needs addressing itself - there need to be more good Support champions in the next few new champions released! I do definitely want to see the rotation permanently raised at least a little from the previous 10 total to fit a greater variety of Support champions in and improve the average team comp. Either that or Autofill absolutely needs to be turned off, permanently, because attempting to force people to play Support when they'll just dodge because they have no good options handy and have no desire to spend IP/RP on buying any when they don't want to play Support in the first place is CLEARLY NOT WORKING and only further increases queue times due to dodges. The bottom-line is Riot needs to encourage people to want to play Support, not try to force them to. Autofill does not work, especially not without a lot of free Supports. Either the number of free Supports must be raised again or Autofill has GOT to go. At least some of the Supports should also be made available in Ranked unless Autofill is removed, too. Sooner or later Riot's going to have to address these issues, even though they decided to largely ignore it through the end of 2016.

Side note: While Janna and Taric are good picks, and Zilean is Support-tagged, Zil is still mostly a midlaner in practice; he was used exclusively as such at Worlds. Shen's presence is also a good thing in this particular rotation, making it better than the last several. However, the underlying issues, especially autofill and lack of communication on Support in general, remain unaddressed.

why do we get Taric almost every rotation? he's not easy for begginers to play and nobody actually wants to play Taric or have Taric on their team. so why is he on rotation every single goddam time???
