May sales schedule

Riot·Apr 17, 2017·2 votes·87,742 views

Check out all the champs and skins on sale this May! Like previous sales schedules, we’re not posting the exact dates for each champ and skin, but they’ll all be on sale sometime next month.

Ultimate skins on sale?

RavenHuskyApr 18, 20179 votes

They used to go on sale upon release, now they go on sale six months after release.

SoryInAdvanceApr 19, 20177 votes

has it really been 6 months?

lightdragoon88Apr 18, 201715 votes

Oh boy...First the Lux ult buff...now her ultimate skin on sale!? ARAM going to be lux 24/7 now.

BrainlionApr 18, 201716 votes

But... ARAM is random... so you don't get to choose...

Twil1ght FadesApr 18, 20173 votes

It's only random in theory, there are a lot of ARAM only accounts that stack the deck in their favor.

TaranisPTApr 19, 20176 votes

But is there really someone willing to pay that much RP for a skin on an ARAM account?

irregularsupportApr 19, 201725 votes

bro you have no idea, people will waste money on anything.

The EcdysiastMay 3, 20171 votes

If you must ask that, you must also ask if there is anyone willing to pay that much for a cosmetic that gives no advantage. The answer in both situations is yes. Hell some people have all the ultimate skins on multiple accounts.

ModJikkerApr 18, 20178 votes

2450 for Elementalist Lux? I may actually get it at that point. Surprised it has a sale at all

TyedyePeacePandaApr 18, 20176 votes

Ultimate skins are eligible for early sales. Unless Riot changes something, this will be the only time it ever goes on sale, so if you want it I'd get it when it's on sale. I have it and it's a great skin.

First Stár JinxApr 19, 20175 votes

They go on sale 5-6 months after release. It most likely will affect the Master Edition as well, but you still will not get the Origin Border and Icon so that makes forerunners still feel nice about themselves.

Anyone know when will Project Katarina be on sales?I think her last sales was on January.I want it to be my first time ever using real money to buy an in-game stuff.Im a free to play player but i just want that skin.

Morning RavenApr 20, 20173 votes

She was released in last summer. So if you wait for sometime between July and September she probably will go on sale then. (Month range because they tend to split up skins released at the same time so I'm fitting in Project Ekko but no Kat or vice versa)

RevolutionOfDarkJul 28, 20171 votes

Sorry for the very long late reply.Didnt know how to see my updates since i was new.thank u for the time and detailed information.

I've been waiting for this as well haha

Stick In MuddApr 19, 20173 votes

So Cosmic Reaver Kassadin is still not going on sale. Maybe next year?

SoryInAdvanceApr 20, 20171 votes

think it was on sale around a year ago so it shouldnt be too awfully long but it still has to cycle back through. honestly its the best skin in the game for its value so paying full price is definitely worth it.

DayAantirApr 25, 20171 votes

Ahem, WAS the best skin in the game. I'm more exited about Cosmic Blade Yi. And I don't even play Yi!

SoryInAdvanceApr 25, 20172 votes

I, personally, think the Kass one looks better. Personal preference though.

Hungry CancerMay 13, 20171 votes

it's been 576 days since its last sale (which was release) just like Spirit Fire Brand who's sale I having been impatiently awaiting for almost 2 years now. lol

SoryInAdvanceMay 13, 20171 votes

I unluckily got spirit fire brand in a mystery chest about a week after I bought zombie brand so i haven't used it once. haha

Lolz I have zombie and cryocore but spiritfire is way better in my opinion.

been waiting a while for the academy skins to go on sale......

YaJpTpOg4CApr 18, 20172 votes

Lux skins tho

First Stár JinxApr 19, 20172 votes

Watch as all the people who bought Elementalist Lux cry about the fact that people are getting them for like $5 less than before.

Because you know Riot, it'd be nice if you stopped raping my wallet for a good half second.

Program MorganaApr 19, 201713 votes

We have no reason to cry We get the border and i bought it for that much when it came out :)

WhiskeejackApr 23, 20177 votes

I mean they outlined the policy for these "Early" skin sales a while ago. People should be used to it by now

DexosaurApr 19, 20172 votes

Does early sale mean right on May 1st they will be for sale? Or is this a day just before May 1st?

Morning RavenApr 20, 20175 votes

Early sales are at the end of the month (around the 20th). Usually skins first go on sale about a year after being released, so the early sale is a chance to get them at 6 months for a price tier drop (i.e. 1350 -> 950) instead of a full half off. Early sales also are the only time to get Legendary and Ultimate skins on sale.

DexosaurMay 1, 20171 votes

So around April 20th this skin would of been on sale? Fugg! I forgot to check post to see this! Argh! item 3070

Hungry CancerMay 13, 20171 votes

lol no, around May 20 or so( usually the last weekend of the month) the skin will go on sale; the "early" in "early sale" has nothing to do with what time of the month the sale takes place, it has to with the skin coming on sale early compared to the 12 month minimum a skin usually has to wait to hit the monthly 50% sale roster (except spirit fire Brand because Riot likes the dick. lol). This will be the ONLY time Elementalist Lux will come on sale as Legendary and Ultimate Skins ONLY GET THE ONE SALE 6 months after release, you still have plenty of time to prepare so it won't be a surprise and you can be sure to get her dope ass skin for a good price.

MyziscoApr 19, 20172 votes

The Lux ultimate is going on sale? What about Star Guardian Jinx and Frejlord Taliyah, which have been out for like 6 months and 10 months, longer than a skin is supposed to take to go on sale.

V Live ExclusiveApr 19, 20173 votes

I'm pretty sure freljord Taliyah was on sale few months back, since I remember myself being salty for buying it before the sale

Morning RavenApr 20, 20173 votes

Star Guardian Jinx is going on early sale this month. Just wait literally a few more days.

MyziscoApr 20, 20172 votes

Star Guardian Jinx is going on early sale this month. Just wait literally a few more days.

Somehow I missed that, even though I'm constanly checking for the sales of the 2 skins, I've seen nothing that keeps track of when a skin was on sale saying that Frejlord Taliyah had gone on sale yet though.

Morning RavenApr 20, 20172 votes

You just need to check the posts of sales each month

Although I use this: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1T5h1LKTRCVg3NU9XA3NSlrGS1dF5YO6KfEePIL893SU/edit#gid=0 as a guide. It updates when stuff goes on sale. (It needs a number update for how many days til stuff is due though since there are a lot more skins to cycle through now)

Hungry CancerMay 13, 20171 votes

Freljord Taliyah could be a bit, it's been 360 days since it's release while it's been 569 and 613 days for Spirit Fire Brand and Project Leona respectively; some skins, especially for underplayed champs, just get over looked or are used in bundles almost exclusively for a long time after release, since it's a good incentive for getting players to buy bundles; if there's a skin you really want that has yet to come on sale for one of your mains then you may be willing to buy a bundle with a couple of cheaper skins for champs you may not play as much just to get that one skin cheaper.

UniqueSanityApr 20, 20172 votes

Only the Lux Star Guardian skin for me this go round.

EiAisqApr 20, 20172 votes

I paid full price for Elementalist Lux, I would have NEVER bought it at full price if I had known it would go on sale, what is this, Rito?

WhiskeejackApr 23, 20179 votes

http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/store/sales/were-changing-discounts

TLDR Ultimate and Legendary skins go on sale once, approximate 6 months after release

halzlindzApr 19, 20171 votes

I wanna know why Star Guardian Jinx never went on sale in April (like the sale schedule said) and why after like a week the schedule was taken off the client and replaced with a March schedule- when clearly it was APRIL D: RITO YOU FAIL
