As much as I love Prestige KDA Ahri and how excited I was, I'm not spending $100+ on a bunch of masterwork chests with prestige points for what's essentially a chroma. [sg-ahri-3]

Can we get a timeline on when you're going to add the free methods to obtain prestige points? Is it the next event? Because it wasn't LNY even though you mentioned adding free methods to obtain points in events before the LNY event started. Just curious........

Just link Prestige Points to RP purchases simple. Wales don't need random boxes since we already have all the skins we want, and new players don't need random boxes since they don't have all the champs. This would also make up for the increased cost for RP recently, its a win win.

Me being an Ahri main (and loving all things Ahri), I find it very disappointing to discover that I must essentially pay $100+ for a chroma. It's not worth gambling your way through a bunch of unwanted boxes just to get a "Prestige" point. It's especially not worth your money either.

Legit 90% of players aren't okay with this new prestige point system? So why aren't they changing it or addressing it? Make an easier cheaper way to get the points but have them take that full year to get. My proposal is to make a way players the money have the option to buy them instantly BUT ALSO the players without $100+ to spend on one skin will just take a while to get it, but it'll be worth it in the end. Like say you give out a certain amount of free points per event or every level or something. Find a happy medium. [slayer-jinx-unamused] I'm just so disheartened about this whole thing. Players have only been criticizing this since the Aatrox skin release and Riot doesn't seem to be listening at all.

If you are going to have players drop over $100 on a skin, there better not be ANY other way to get it, or it is a massive disservice to the people that dropped a LOT of hard earned money on that particular skin or chroma. Find another way to reward players for hard work and dedication in game, or, better yet, don't set up a system where a player has to spend such a grossly high total to receive the skin they want. We are gamers, not crazy rich entrepreneurs. Why is every new chroma/skin a chance to make another million dollars off your loyal players/fanbase? What about the philosophy used in Pokemon Go, where ALL the players spend a LITTLE, instead of a FEW players spending a LOT. Just a thought. I think making things reasonably affordable would have a positive effect in not just overall profits, but in the community itself as well.

Why can't everyone boycott the prestige point system? It's exploiting you and your wallet for an unfair pricing. These skins cost more than ultimate skins, for less work put into them. That's.... ridiculous. I've been playing League since season 1 and as a veteran I've never seen such disgusting, predatory, exploitative business practices come from Riot like this. I've participated and spent money on prestige skins (namely Vayne, just due to lack of time while I was grinding) and I can somewhat stomach that... but prestige points are inherently exploring your addictive nature. I love League and really really used to love Riot, but this CANNOT continue. Rather it shouldn't be allowed to... but everyone is going to give in, because Ahri is popular.. so. The rich exploit the rest of the populace per usual. Sucks, I used to believe this company have heart. Not much coming from someone like me, but it's just.. disappointing as a long-standing fan of the game.

For anyone wondering the Prestige KDA Ahri skin is very poor quality. You'll about 50 skins of far superior quality before you manage to get her prestige skin. I bought it in the hopes of a fix. Then they released fizz. Rip...
