For the first time, Mystery Champions are available in the League of Legends store! Head over to the Champions tab of the store and pick up Mystery Champions for yourself before they ride off into the sunset (metaphorically).

Mystery Champion - 490 RP

Mystery Champions cost 490 RP, and guarantee an unowned champion worth 585 RP or more.

Mystery Champions will be available between now and 23:59 PDT on August 24th.

Why can't I buy mystery champions for IP? Doesn't offering it like this sort of defeat the purpose of dual IP/RP system?

Very disappointed in this Riot. Thought I would be able to complete my champion set (I only need 6, and only 2 of them are 975) so I bought some RP, spent the IP I accumulated, and went to buy the mystery champs - all to be told I need to have min 10 still available to use the feature.

That should be clearly stated in the description. Not happy I spent money today that I could have saved until a skin I wanted dropped later.

Funny because I gave my friend 2 mystery champs and he got 2 975 ones.

Only helps that I get 1 mystery skin when I shoulda gotten 2.

I got the master yi skin curse... ! got 3 master yi skin from mystery skinsI unboxed and I just receieve 1 more from riot today..

AND it turns out that if you have fewer than 10 champs you can't actually buy this chest. Figures I'd spend money to get nothing.

An actual marketer would realize that there's a large portion of the market not wanting to spend money on champs anymore, and when they do buy with rp instead of ip it would be greatly beneficial to the companies bottom line.

On the other hand, a rude marketer would tell you that you can get something, market it without disclaimers, and then when you go to buy it find out there's something stopping you. May even be an illegal practice? You think they do the same for mystery skins?

I love how nowhere it mentions you can't buy one if you have less than 10 champs left to buy..... That should be mentioned for those of us that try and buy the remaining of our champs this way.

Soo, I needed a few champions to fill up my roster. I figured I could just buy the rest with Mystery Champions. If you have 9 or less champions, you CAN NOT buy anymore Mystery Champions. It's really lame.

PS: Please add this in the description. I don't want rp refunded, but I would like you to warn people.

I have bought ten mystery champions. Only one of them were worth 975 ip. From personal experience. I can tell you that these mystery champs are not worth the cause. If your interested in buying champs with rp. Just buy them. Don't waste your time hoping to get a good champ from this.
