Account Transfers Going on Cooldown

Srsly, this is just unacceptable to me. They've had 40 days to prepare this and yet we are still waiting... I expect the transfers being discounted after this.

Riot, maybe you can do something for people that were waiting for 2 months to transfer. For example let us transfer our accounts with 50% discount, and we would not be that man, I know that you have some troubles with the servers and everything, just I'm thinking, that with the discount, people wouldn't get that mad. It really sucks, that I when I came to NA, the account transfers are disabled. So to start everything with the new account plus no champs and without getting BE is really hard and I am not enjoying League Of Legends that much right now.

Riot this is pretty ridiculous, I've been waiting weeks and weeks and now when your deadline comes you can't meet it?

Come on guys, I really thought you were past this kind of stuff at this point, a company with this kind of success really has no excuse failing to implement something that should be really simple.

I really feel the players who were waiting deserve some kind of compensation for this. Server transfers should AT THE VERY LEAST be heavily discounted for this mistake.

I'm just getting back into the game and coming back to this has been disappointing, to say the least.

Wow... after submitting support tickets, commenting here, seeing these "updates", I am nothing less than astonished at the incompetence and greed.

Offline for weeks and weeks and then not only unable to meet their deadline, but delaying by more than another month, AND YET, no word of discounts for server transfers, no apology, and no compensation for the players who just want to play the game and pay Riot's (overpriced as it is) server transfer fee.

I've gone from frustrated to furious. I hope Riot realizes this an experience I'm going to share with others. Even if I do eventually get back into the game at this point I really don't want to involve friends and their money in a mess like this. There's been some major damage done here with their reputation for me, I'll definitely be posting about this on social media, I don't want this to be swept under the rug like they want- This is unacceptable.

Riot, this is inexcusable. I've been your customer for over 7 years and this is the saddest thing I've seen yet. If I don't get get (at the very least) a free server transfer at this point I won't ever spend another dime on this game again, and I've spent well over 500 at this point, something I'm now greatly regretting. It's clear my cash is all that matters to Riot these days. What a pity.

It's the 20th and I still can't transfer. I know I'm being impatient but it sucks making a new account with nothing on it just to play on until you get your main to your new region.

We originally announced that server transfers would come back online this week, but we hit a snag and have to put the date back. We ran into some issues with how our data centers communicate with each other, and our engineers estimate it will take at least 5 to 6 weeks to be fixed. We're really sorry about this.

We'll update you when we have more news.

So, the response I just got to a ticket I made (on another account) basically blamed me for the fact that Riot has fucked up and we have to wait another month. They won't refund or provide a discount. They showed now empathy or anything about the situation. So, as we all know already this company doesn't care a bit about customers. But they've definitely lost my business permanently and I've spent hundreds on multiple accounts.

If you're expecting them to really be sorry or actually give any compensation for their mistake you'll be waiting an eternity. They don't care, so don't give them your money anymore.

I BET THERE ARE NOT EVEN GONNA BE ANY COMPENSATIONS, RIOT JUST GONNA TAKE THEIR TIME, AND BE QUITE WITH IT.

TBH discount is pretty meh. Lot's of people couldn't: -test new champion (Zoe), -participate in Project Event and earn rewards, -complete daily lv mission to earn xp, -participate in incoming Christmas URF, -drop rest of chests and keys waiting for them in this season (at least 4), -test preseason stuff

For such a long delay transfers should be free and people who couldn't play during whole this time should get some compenastion.

So I sent a ticket, and this was their response:

The most likely time-frame for the re-enabling of the transfers is the end of January - beginning of February.

There will be some compensation for this. It will most likely be a reduction in the price of the transfer.

I'm Actually surprised. I think they have apes working on their computers. I have over 2k USD invested on my account. Literally i think i want my money back LOL! Riot doesnt care about their consumers and their players, they only care for the money. and a COMPENSATION? are u kidding me? It should be freaking free.

Still waiting Riot....... 2 and a Half months later still waiting. I was mad when I heard it would be 2 months but the changes were huge so I understood why. The I was mad when we got to the deadline and it wasn't available, but still I Waited. Now its been nearly three months and I'm done waiting can you please open it up soon and for a discount as others have suggested? this is unbelievable for such a large company. been playing this game since S2 and by now I'm quite used to your shenanigans, but this takes the cake as the most ridiculous customer service failure that I have seen in the 6 years i have been playing this game. Get your act together or at least tell us when it'll be available. There better be some discount for us who have been waiting for a quarter of a year.

This must be a low priority project for them and they dont understand just how much of an inconvenience it is. PLEASE RIOT????!! I just moved back to NA, am paying for the best possible internet in my area (and no, im not on a farm) and i STILL have 170 ping and above!

So.... season 8 is already up and running but we still cant transfer regions?? Is this you telling us that we should just stop playing and supporting this game / company??? I'm not trying to be toxic or anything but we've been waiting for ages and we keep on getting false hope. Everyone else is getting to climb and enjoy the game but what about those who have moved countries and haven't done anything wrong? Why do you have to punish us???
