December sales schedule

Riot·Nov 18, 2016·3 votes·163,475 views

Check out all the champs and skins on sale this December! Like previous sales schedules, we’re not posting the exact dates for each champ and skin, but they’ll all be on sale sometime next month.

So are we going to be able to purchase the chromas with IP or no?

tyrese2014Nov 18, 20169 votes

they did for about a week then cancelled them

SoirealNov 18, 201650 votes

did you not read the page about it being a limited time thing as it was not meant to go on forever but it will come again as these things are a limited time sort of sale

Gilgamesh PrimeNov 18, 201612 votes

the approximate time is after a chroma is released 5 months after the ip sale will begin

VindlerNov 19, 201610 votes

bi-annually, chromas that have been available for 5 months or more will be available for purchase with IP.

HexaDecimelNov 18, 20168 votes

Riot stated that 3 or 4 months after chromas are released they will become available for purchase with IP for a couple days. They already did the first sale a month or so ago, so I am guessing that the next chromas will be available for IP maybe end of December or January.

DukeTorusNov 18, 201619 votes

Chroma sales are twice a year. All chromas go on sale for IP as long as it has been more than 5 months since they were released. The last sale was in late August.

deep sea nami so I can drown my enemies [slayer-jinx-catface]

BB CakeNov 19, 20161 votes

But you can drown them regardless of skin...

Princess MarshNov 19, 20164 votes

I know. but it was a joke, learn to recognize one?

considering "deep sea nami" could drown them in the deep sea

thus, more intensely drowning them

Garlic ButterNov 21, 20163 votes

Almost all drownings in recorded history have occurred in shallow water (usually less than waist or shin deep) though. It's unheard of to drown in deep water (bouancy doesn't work that way after all). Unless a sea monster grabs you and forces you deep under the water, but you die of being crushed by pressure and NOT drowning in that case. I guess that's why...Nami can't kill Fizz?

Princess MarshNov 21, 20162 votes

you must be a real buzz kill at parties [zombie-nunu-bummed]

Garlic ButterNov 27, 20162 votes

Yeah I never attend parties for very solid reasons. Also having a buzz is really not wise for your health, it's presence signals (light) brain damage and ensures one isn't taking matters seriously (huge risk to health of self and others around oneself). Further the state can lead to addiction to the substance(experience) causing the situation which may be healthy or unhealthy (but risk is it's own reward of course).

Princess MarshNov 27, 20162 votes

I made a bad joke and now I'm being punished with dumb replies [zombie-nunu-tears]

Garlic ButterNov 27, 20162 votes

Are you learning... Actions have consequences? Also you could say I am an enforcer of that, Karmic Houdinis not allowed to escape [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

ilovecookie4271Nov 18, 20166 votes

Woohoo! Cass is on sale this week, and now Syndra and Vayne are coming up. I'm so happy! If you see this Riot, know that I'm thankful!!!

Feckin Hight MeNov 18, 201610 votes

xD buying champs with RP

Princess MarshNov 18, 20164 votes

lmao, i think it's waste of rp too. why buy something with rp when you can buy it with ip?

scoobydoom2Nov 18, 201615 votes

because you have a really small champ pool when you are new and it is hard to get the expensive champions?

ilovecookie4271Nov 18, 201615 votes

Well I mean, I'm new and need runes. I have the money to spend, so I'm going to spend it.

SaintCDNov 19, 20167 votes

Personally I would recommend buying ip boosters if you're gonna spend the cash anyways.

WolfmanNov 19, 20166 votes

I bought quite a few champs with RP, I kinda wish I wouldn't have, but it's the only way to get all the champs and runes set up in any reasonable time.

053Nov 26, 20162 votes

If you're new, why are you going to play those champions?

Vhan8765Nov 18, 20166 votes

SEWN CHAOS ORI~ <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 I have literally been waiting for forever for that skin to go on sale, it is literally the only Ori skin I don't own yet because my cheap ass has been waiting for it to go on sale finally. x'D

Princess MarshNov 18, 20163 votes

it's a cheap skin even when it isn't on sale though

EvilGen1usNov 19, 20166 votes

is there going to be Christmas sale shop? like snowday skins for December?

StrippedChicken1Nov 19, 20162 votes

I would guess this stuff will come around right around when the snowy summoners rift map gets pushed out. Probably have a bunch of christmas/winter stuff showing up really soon here

HoneyBeeBadgerNov 18, 20165 votes

never cosmic Kassadin

BlàdedancerNov 19, 20164 votes

There will also be legacy skins released too, like winder wonder ori?

Darks3ndNov 20, 20164 votes

Please please put DJ Sona on sale. More importantly for the sake of humanity, give us a decent Irelia skin. She could have an amazing Project or Program look. Share the love. Ashe and some other champions have decent skins for days.

Backup SauceNov 20, 20163 votes

Last I checked, Ultimate Skins will never go on sale and are only at a reduced price the first week they are released.

your dna big gayNov 19, 20163 votes

yessssssss night hunter rengar [slayer-jinx-wink]

muhrez13Nov 25, 20163 votes

Hi! Are the early sales and the start or end of the month? because super galaxy fizz is in early sales for november but today (25th of november) he is on discount. I want to grab me dark star thresh and im wondering if im gonna have to wait the whole month to buy the skin thank you!

Cryo00Nov 18, 20162 votes

So, just so I know, do early sales happen at the beginning or end of December ?

Large MinivanNov 18, 20165 votes

end I'm pretty sure

Princess MarshNov 18, 20162 votes

it's the end

HigeNov 18, 20162 votes

O.o I have no clue how early sales work, when will the prices for the skins listed there drop? ._.

Princess MarshNov 18, 20161 votes

It's random. Every week (this listing will start in December) a grouping of random skins from this list are chosen to be on sale, go to the store, the actual store not the list of champions, go to the skins and on the right side you can check a box there that says "On Sale". Just click that and it'll tell you the skins on sale for that week. If you're looking for a specific one just check back every week. Sometimes it's a hassle, I remember one month checking every week for a lulu skin to be on sale and it wasn't on sale til like one of the last weeks of the month c':

ThotBoyNov 18, 20166 votes

hes talking about the early sales not the regular list of skins that are gonna be available through dec. early sales start at the end of the month

HigeNov 18, 20162 votes

this! thank you both!

WolfmanNov 19, 20163 votes

Early sales are for newer skins. You get rewarded for waiting a little bit but it's not the 50% off of a full sale price. I don't recall the time it takes to move something to the early sale. Important side note: 1820 skins like "Dark Star Thresh" can go on early sale according to this but I've never seen one in the 50% off normal sales. Hope that helps. TahmKench

getdestroyyedNov 21, 20162 votes

Will the champions be IP or RP?

Nathan TonNov 26, 20162 votes

so...when is the December sale...? (riot pls...Dark star Thresh)[slayer-jinx-wink]

HigeDec 2, 20162 votes

TVG TurtleDec 2, 20162 votes

Are early sale at the end or beginning of december ?

Naked Nautilus Nov 18, 20161 votes

Darkstar thresh in picture, not even on sale

DustastrousNov 18, 201611 votes

You must not have read it. "Dark Star Thresh Normal:1820 Sale:1350"

Deh2BeedNov 20, 20162 votes

so legendaries do go on to sale? or is it just for early sales

Garlic ButterNov 21, 20163 votes

They only go on sale once in this particular way then are never on sale again (unless they are being retired, and sometimes when brought out of retirement for a champ rework). Personal sale shop not withstanding (also free in hextech crafting but yeah).
