Show the world what a real main looks like. Eternals are a new type of cosmetic that let you showcase your accomplishments and stunt on your opponents. Track your per-game personal bests and rack up lifetime milestones for things like hooks hit, dunks dunked, and more.

What are Eternals?

Eternals are a new type of cosmetic that let you showcase your accomplishments in League, counting both unique and general gameplay milestones on a per-champion basis. In-game, you’ll see milestones "pop up” on the side of the screen as you hit statistical checkpoints for that Eternal.

Other in-game features include a new flair for that champion's Mastery emote, a list of Eternals at the back of a champion's loading screen card, and a showcase of your Eternals on enemies' death screens when you take them down. You can track your progress for each Eternal in the Progression tab of the client when not in game.



How do I purchase an Eternals set?

You can purchase Eternals sets directly from the champion detail page (in the new Progression section) or from the Eternals tab in the Store. Eternals are separated into two set types: Common and Unique.

Common sets will only include broadly-applicable Eternals, such as Kills, Objectives Destroyed, and Takedowns. They’ll be available year-round for 225 RP and twice a year in the Essence Emporium for 3500 BE. Each Common set will contain three Common Eternals per champion.

Unique sets will only include custom-built Eternals for each champion. They'll be available year-round for 590 RP. Each set will contain three Unique Eternals per champion.


Where can I see the Eternals I've purchased?

You can check out all of your Eternals in the Progression tab under each champion (go to your Collection and click on a champion). You’ll see your unlocked or locked Eternals here, and be able to explore your milestone progress and personal bests.


Will I be able to choose which Eternals are shown off in the future?

Yes! As more sets come out, you’ll be able to feature different Eternals in the loading screen and in-game. On top of that, you can mix and match individual Eternal from more sets in the future for some optimal customization.


Can I turn off Eternals milestones and displays?

There’s nothing wrong with a bit of secrecy and subterfuge (just ask Zed!) Players will have several options to mute Eternals milestones in-game (All On, Self + Team Only, and completely Off). However, Eternals will always be shown on the death screen and on the back of the player card in the loading screen.


How do I unlock Personal Best for an Eternal?

Hit five milestones on any Eternal to “Rekindle” it, which will unlock Personal Best. A Personal Best tracks your all-time, single-match best for that particular Eternal. Beating your Personal Best in a match fires a special Milestone for everyone to see! For example, if your Personal Best for kills was 10 in a single game and you score 11 the next time you hit the Rift, everyone will see a Milestone of your achievement!


How do I upgrade my Mastery Emote?

Your champion’s Mastery Emote will be automatically upgraded after hitting five Milestones on each Eternal in a set. Think of it like a set completion reward. Rekindle more sets as they release to upgrade your Mastery Emote even further!

What happens when a champion is reworked/updated, and a tracked stat no longer applies?

Eternals that no longer apply to the present status of a champion will be marked as a Legacy Eternal. These Legacy Eternals can still be featured, even if they no longer track the stat in question (their number will remain the same). The Legacy Eternal will then be replaced by a new Eternal for free.


Can I gift Eternals?

We appreciate your generous spirit, but at this time you cannot gift Eternals.


Will there be more Eternals sets in the future?

Yes! We’ll have more updates on this soon


Will Eternals drop in Loot?

Nope, not at the moment.


Does changing which Eternal I’m featuring reset any of my tracked stats?

No way! Your Eternals will continuously track their respective stats (and Milestone in-game) even when they're not featured.


Do I need to own the champion before I buy their Eternals set?

Yes. You won’t be able to unlock Eternals for champs you don’t yet own.


Can I refund Eternals?

You sure can. Eternals are refundable per the refund policy in the Store. Note that your stats will be reset to zero if you refund!


Is there a level requirement to purchase, feature, or see Eternals?

Nope! You’ll be able to experience Eternals from level 1.

The reward at the end for this is legit Terrible, you expect people to pay for an accomplishment system, only to give them 5 stupid bars to an emote for accomplishing the maximum they can do???? it dosent even change what the mastery emote looks like, that's barebones minimal effort for a reward, and I don't even like using the mastery emote it's BM as fuck. I can't belive they made a whole new system of progression just to add 5 bars on a fucking emote as the reward THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR. I can't fathom how riot thought people would be excited for that being the end goal for this new product LMAO.

Wow, this company never ceases to amaze me with their misguided sense of priorities. I understand wanting to make money, but a player progression system that you pay for??... All I want is to stop losing hours in ranked games with troll team compositions and players that have 0 vision score at 35 minutes. The matchmaking system and client are absolutely broken. Everyone is disgruntled with the current state of the game and this is the best thing the 2500 riot employees can come up with??? I guess their to busy giving free accounts to streamers. Very disappointed that this has become the norm. Sad

This is something that needs to be unlockable with blue essence, or not exist at all. This is just a worse version of the current mastery system

So uh what is the reward part of actually lvling up or progressing the things? Like not only are they paid, but are pretty much just a worse system than the in place mastery system. The concept of Eternal progression for a champ is fine and dandy, it being paid is okay if it had a reward structure. Easy reward structure every 5 lvls of it or whatever, you can unlock a chroma on a skin you already own of that champion (could even be a random chroma of the last skin you used on the champ). It requires the player to pay for or unlock the main base skin, but also rewards the player for ETERNALLY playing that champ

I've been wanting a system that gives individual champion quests that are highly difficult and show that you are actually very skill with the champ instead of mastery where you can just play a bunch and get a few lucky games. But making you have to pay for a progression system is completely stupid and ruined the entire idea.

You slap a price tag on it.. First it was battle passes, then little legends, now its our achievements... When will the it end?

I'm an Achievement/Trophy Hunter and I love showing off something I've put a lot of time and effort into(23 Platinum Trophies currently). But, this doesn't feel anything like that. If I want to spend RP on something, it will be spent on other things, skins, emotes, etc. In my opinion those are things that are worth it, going into game with a cool skin or a funny emote obviously still says "I spent actual money for this" but that's all it is, cosmetic. It makes the skin a little more worth it every time I go into a match and get a compliment on having it, it reinforces my purchase. I don't feel this will have the same impact on me personally. If they are reasonably priced, I may grab one to highlight my favourite champion a bit more. But, if there is any Random aspect to what you get, or if there is no option to just get one, I won't even consider it.

Also, I mostly play ARAM and TFT these days, will these achievements apply to ARAM? Or do I have to go into a toxic summoner's rift game, just to make progress?

Just give us a chroma for the base skin or a badge on the profile when we hit Mr7 on a champion, there is no need to monetize achievements.

I just filled out one of these surveys telling you what complete SHIT the Little Legends system is. Telling you it's as bad as EAs loot boxes. Than you go and do some dumb shit like this.. You need to use the BE bullshit that we gather up, I have all the champs. ALL OF THEM. Wtf do I use BE for? Nothing untill a new champ is released. than I hoard more. tell your boss hes going to make everyone quit playing the game due to his greed. next we will have to pay to use the champion we want to play before champ select and if it gets banned we will have to pay for another champ. lets not stop there lets also have to pay to load into the game and if we want to get a ward for river we have to pay real money for that too.

lets mybe fix match making and mybe get a better client so people can stop with all the disconnections at loading screens before the game starts
