The Star Guardian: New Horizon event ends on 9/25/17 at 11:59 PM PT, and with it go...

Invasion game mode missions, though you can transform Starlight Tokens into the New Horizon Icon and New Horizon Ward until 10/16/17 at 11:59 PM PT.
The New Horizon Set, First Star Edition bundles, Burning Bright Bundle, and Familiar Friends Bundle. You receive First Star loading screen borders for Star Guardian Ahri, Miss Fortune, Syndra, Soraka, and Ezreal only by purchasing the New Horizon Set or First Star Edition bundles.

This was a pretty horrible event.

The game mode was a fun twist and reminded me a lot of hero brawlers from WC3, but the execution was just bad.

Forcing premades? Just no.

Making the borders 250 RP extra for the skins? What?!

Seriously, this direction just needs to stop. Where were the times when you just sold stuff for what it was and people could just play the game the way they wanted to? =/

Honestly riot i don't understand why you made it so people have to be premade to get the rewards its hard enough getting a couple people together to play this due to how difficult it is but 5 people for an incredibly bad game mode with annoying as hell missions is ridiculous people want the ward they just cant get it and another thing is it is hard enough to do it with an adc let alone without one.[sg-lux-2]

The Premade requirement was where they went wrong, I liked the game mode, but getting 5 people together, let alone getting the S, is ridiculous.

the dark stars will rise up and corrupt the first star. its corruption will only solidify our position and make the star guardian destruction much easier. as long as no random time traveling magical girl named homura shows up, nothing can stop us. hell, we may even recruit homura into our ranks.
