Midseason Essence Emporium opening soon

Welcome (back) to the Essence Emporium! We’re kicking things off at 11:00 AM PT on April 19 and will be open for business until April 30, 2018, at 11:59 PM PT. During that time, you can snag chromas, gemstones, icons, wards, emotes, and other exclusives for Blue Essence.

Here’s what’s new:

2,000 BE – Midseason chromas (Includes any non-limited, non-legacy chromas released between July and December of any year. See the full list of available chromas at our FAQ here. Listed chromas released in 2017 will also be on sale for 195 RP.)
2,500 BE – Mystery Mini icons, series 2 (with 8 new icons available)

In case you missed the last Essence Emporium, here’s what’s coming back:

1,500 BE – Mystery icons (Does not include esports icons, may contain Mystery Mini Icons)
2,500 BE – Mystery Mini icons, series 1
4,900 BE – Mystery wards
6,000 BE – Essence Collector Ward
50,000 BE – Make It Rain Emote
50,000 BE – Gemstone + Gemstone Knight Icon
75,000 BE – Moneybags Emote
75,000 BE – Gemstone + Gemstone Prince Icon
100,000 BE – Gemstone + Gemstone King Icon
150,000 BE – URFWick skin

Blue Essence gifting for wards and icons (both Mystery Mini and regular mystery icons) will also be available for the duration of the Essence Emporium.

As a midseason bonus, the following will also be on sale for 50% off RP:

Summoner Name Change (50% off RP – 650 RP)
Rune Pages (50% off RP and BE – 295 RP each)

Is there a set date for the next Essence Emporium? Unless my bi-annual math is off, it should be sometime around mid-late October.

Also, will there be regular/mystery emotes added to the Emporium this time? I expect there will be some of them available for BE (frankly, an optional currency label that should have been attached to them at day 1).

P.S. "Revenue Strategy Associate"? Seriously? That's corporate language at its finest. xD

They are so broken after you own all the champs. I use one to get champions the first week they are released, without any first week cost increase & the still get the Mystery Champ Token discount. Still have a few left.

what's the problem with that? Champions are free to get anyways, and right now it takes an insane grind to get all of them.

Broken after you own all the champs but really appealing for those dont. Right now for those who dont have the champs and excessive amounts of BE this shop has nothing for them unless they want to dump away BE at the cost of obtaining champ even further behind

And that’s why they took it away. But still it could of been a veteran discount. It takes a while or a lot of money to own every single champion.

I too was sad when they discontinued it.

Course I got enough BE for the next 18 champions so I’m good for like 7 years. Because I won’t be baited into spending my free BE on extremely overpriced collectibles.

To clarify, this affects long time players who has friends who recently started playing, since they can gift random champions and help them fill their champion pool with their arguably useless BE

What about the Rune Ward? When the change to Runes first happen we were told that that ward skin would come back on the Emporium if we hadnt spend enough IP on runes to earn it.... Nice selection of chromas btw!

The Rune Ward, with the book with the runes floating above it, was specifically NOT coming back because it was commemorative of people who had purchased a certain amount of runes under the old system. It was a limited edition ward skin. The only ward skin coming back was the Essence Collector one.

Owned any Limited Edition rune

Rune pages just carried over to the new system, so they weren't taken into account.

Roughly half the chromas are in the 'spring' Emporium, the other half are in the 'fall' Emporium. So if it was in the last Emporium, it will not be in this one.

But I grabbed chromas for both High noon Yasuo and cassiopeia base last emporium and according to the faq they're available again this time around?

The first one was selected on a different basis (Chromas could be from any part of the year). This one they are specifically only doing Chromas released in July-December for some thematic reason, I guess.

Can we rebuy things we already bought last time ? specifically the gemstones ( I understand you can't have 2 of the same icon or 2 Urfwick skin... ) If not will we be able to get them again at season's end?

These really seem like the ultimate things we can get (225k is not cheap) once you got most of everything else

While I really appreciate this coming back, it still feels a little odd both that the low-end of the store is basically all randomized (although if you're going to add randomized lootbox-esque rewards, this feels like one of the better places to put them) and that the price spike is so huge.
