BrawlicSnake3 votesIn theory, it's much more worth to buy Zyra because the lower the IP the champion the bigger the ripoff of RP. So you are getting a better deal to spend your RP on Zyra because she is 6,300 IP champion. However, it all comes down to who you like better. Did you play either one of them during free week? Do you find yourself playing top or support? Zyra is a VERY strong support right now and Riven continually stays strong up top as well.
Forerunnerr2 votesAbsolutely agree. The only real knock I'd say in buying Zyra is the phrase "right now". In the past, when she's out of meta, she disappears. Not quite to Yorick levels, but she gets buried pretty bad. But, even when she's out of favor, she is still pretty fun for funsies....

, she can go top, jungle, mid, and if you're feeling adventurous, even support. She's pretty flexible as far as builds go, more so than "YOU WILL BUILD AP ON ". I'm biased as a Riven main, but I'm going to say , may be fun for a little while but she's likely not going to stick around in the meta for long. defines being picked by people no matter what because they enjoy her and do best with her. My two cents here, but you will struggle with early on, and it won't be as fun, but when you get good at her, you're going to have a blast [slayer-jinx-wink].
Forerunnerr2 votesI'd agree here. Unless they absolutely obliterate , whether her kit or her numbers, then she'll always have a place. She may not always be an optimal meta pick, but she's pretty much always a decent/solid pick. is a bunch of fun, but she's not as consistently viable. Right now, her poke game is strong, and she can burst squishies. She provides a good degree of pressure from the support position, she can be played mid, and although some may argue she can jg, it's not something to just randomly play, I'd say. So, all in all, Riven is a better rounded pick, but both are fun. Unless you're a support main, you'll probably get more mileage outta Riven, though.
Chaos6891 votesGet neither. RIven takes far too much effort to learn, like Rengar or maybe Yasuo, and once you do learn her (thoug hI haven't mastered her) her "outplay" feels too easy and unfun. You just knockup and stun and whoo. It doesn't feel good. Zyra also isn't very fun to me. She has a very heimerdinger playstyle now wit hher plants, though more aggressive. Just my opinion, you don't hav et olisten.

If you didn't know already, sales come out the day after they are announced. Accounced Monday, come out Tuesday. Announced Thursday, come out Friday. The monday sales last until friday, the thursday sales last until monday.
