Kindred delayed until 5.20

Hey folks,

Despite being in the 5.19 patch notes and just having their champion spotlight released, I have to share the very sad news that Kindred will not be enabled until 5.20.

We found an important, gameplay-impacting issue that we can't release, specifically related to Kindred. Rather than rush a fix out the door, we are going to take due diligence to maintain the integrity of the game and release Kindred (all fixed up) next patch, once it has had adequate coverage. Until that time I hope Worlds can sustain your hype train. We really can't wait to get this champ in your hands and see what you can do with them. They are (still) coming!

Acceptable, but only under the condition you releases videos of whatever hilarious bug is causing Kindred to be delayed.

Does she do less damage on purple side? I'm sure that's it.

Random Question: Is it true that Kindred is the reason behind the recent nerf to Sated Devourer?

IE: Ranged champions only proc SD every 4th hit.

I ask, because this nerf doesn't effect any of the champions that people were complaining about (Yi, Xin, ect).

In fact, it only hurts champions that take to the jungle like Teemo, Kindred, ect.

As a sidenote, any chance to revert the nerf (or maybe make it proc every 3 hits, rather than 4)?

The only other relevant ranged jungler is Kayle, who was pretty strong with it, so maybe it has to do with that.

Was Kindred counting to five on her Mounting Dread? Someone remind them that three is the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three.

Azir was till buggy for a whole year before working out (Even if minor, the last clean up only got patched recently...). It won't change a thing. Syndra got the sam treatment but it took much less time.

Kindred will be just as buggy be it patch 5.19 or 5.20

Exactly If a champion is deeply bugged it will take time to root this out so why not let it out to roam in it's buggy glory like the bug of shurima

There are a few that we're concerned about, but the major one - sometimes a player could lose wolf, and if that happened, you would not get him back until you died. This means you cannot use W or proc your E. Pretty bad stuff. As for why we don't hotfix - checking in and verifying a fix takes several days. By that time we would be very close to 5.20. I know a few days means a lot and may seem worth it, but there are a ton of huge costs involved in doing a patch, including kicking players out and forcing them to patch, sometimes in the middle of a game (if they disconnect for any reason, for example), and many other costs that may be invisible to you. Trust me it's not easy - I really want to watch some streams of Kindred!

While it is highly appreciated of the notification about Kindred's delay, it is rather hard to not have a cynical state of mind when there seems to be a lack of bother to inform the community about this game breaking bug, no TL;DR or link to a source explaining it, if that could be provided I do believe a decent amount of people would have an easier time understanding this delay and not pointing at the championship as a reason (myself included).

(Edit 10/6/2015): In addition I also find it slightly disappointing that they have yet to release information about this in the client or front page, while it in theory would take time, I bet a lot of people do know this is possible, even if it would be something as simple as popping up a message in the client like what they do when a champion is disabled would be better than nothing.

Honestly im not that mad about her not being released im pissed because they said the bugs were "last minute" when pbe was flipping about her bugs 9 DAYS AGO. I would say i believe it was in fact a new bug but given how they don't give us details about whatever it was it just pisses me off. Saw someone earlier in the comments say he wasn't released because of worlds and that's exactly what im thinking.

Sometimes bugs can appear when they incorporate new content into Live. It's what apparently caused the large majority of Azir's bugs. It could be the same case here.
