Uh... people were told that this skin was never coming back. Is there any compensation for those who bought it under that idea? Since it was explicitly told it would not be back and here it is...

Yes, but considering they re-released all the others it was bound to happen eventually. They kept it limited for two years, so I didn't expect it to stay that way forever (as I have it myself from the original 2017 release)

Riven was over 4 years, and was a full SKIN. This is a Chroma that just literally changes the colors upon the skin it is applied too. The 2017 version again still has the Border.

They are talking about the Chroma, not the skin itself. As the Chroma was released in 2017 and only seen then as it didn't return for the 2018 Worlds event. However, it has returned for the 2019 Worlds event (seen in the Worlds Shop with a new Golden Icon)

They outright state in there that the Chroma will only be legacy, meaning it could return whenever Riot wants. So no. Nobody was told the skin OR chroma was never coming back; they were told the loading screen border + icon would never come back. Which they aren't; the golden chroma does not come with the border, and the icon is a different icon.

Who says I can't afford it? Who's talking about "forcing" anything?? Also, "willpower"? I'm glad neither you nor me have an addiction problem when it comes to gambling, but not everyone can just do that friend. It's a real psychological issue and isn't just a "willpower" thing. You should do some research into addictions if you don't believe me.

Why is the gold ashe chroma purchasable by people who already own the Ashe chroma from two years ago? Would it be too much to ask for Riot to unlock the icon for everyone who has the chroma from Worlds 2017 so that there isnt any confusion when looking at the loot shop?

But they are exactly the same. They've only changed the skins slightly that way when they rerelease them to make them special for those that owned them previously like championship Riven how the 2012 has a crown and brighter effects on the ult vs the 2016 is just the original model.

But the Ashe chroma has no differences.

Why are Little Legends even available as rewards for League Worlds content? TFT isn't part of League and isn't getting any Worlds missions to celebrate it. Different games should have separated loot.

I mean, considering it has patch notes twice weekly on the League page, runs on the League Client, etc., it basically is a part of League. SR and TFT are just drastically different game modes.

And why would they have different rewards? The only TFT exclusive goodies are Little Legends & Arena Skins. What else would they award for TFT-only missions?

If call of duty had a Tetris game in it, doesnt change the fact that its a different game. At a minimum make it so that TFT has it's own missions that earn different loot tied to the same event. I dont play TFT and grind SR to get tickets to maybe unlock something for a game/mode that I will never play? That doesnt feel right.

If it uses COD elements, it's the same game. Doesn't matter what you think, it's just another COD game mode and Riot knows that. If you don't want to play TFT then don't play it. None of the missions require you to play it, and the SR & ARAM objectives for the Worlds Pass give the same, if not more tokens than the TFT objectives do.

The problem with that is by playing SR and/or ARAM, has a chance of getting rewards for TFT. Why not simply split them up or let the player choose which reward they want? I dont play TFT, so i dont want a Little Legend or TFT board skin from playing SR. That is my problem with the rewards system.

It's really frustrating that all of the Golden Championship Chromas are back this year with better looking icons than previous years, AND they cost way fewer loot tokens.

2017 Championship Ashe chroma cost 320 tokens and the icon was 120 tokens. 2019 the chroma is back with a better looking icon, and the 2 combined are 300 tokens instead of 440.

2018 Kha, Riven, Thresh, Zed, Kalista, and Shyvana chromas were all available for 400 tokens, with their icon and border bundle costing 350 each. 2019 the chromas are back with the better looking icons for only 300 tokens, albeit minus the banner.

If players hadn't spent time and effort to get these chromas in past years we could've spent our tokens on other loot then, and gotten the 2019 chroma + icon bundles this year for way better loot prices. At minimum the 2019 chroma + icon bundle should cost fewer tokens if you already own the chroma.

They aren't really different icons though, just Golden, which is nothing new for them as they have done this for awhile.

Well they have come up with different costs over they years due to feedback, as they did cost A LOT in the past.

Im not worried about Ashe's chroma coming back. I'm upset I have to spend 300 tokens just to get the new icon since I spent the tokens to get her chroma 2 full years ago...i think if everyone who already bought the chroma at least got the new icon for free, they'd be 1 icon's worth less salty lmao. i know i'll be happy if i just get the icon free. otherwise hardpass. i already bought the chroma. i'm not buying it again for the icon. i have the better variant of the icon anyway :^)

Why are the chromas coming back but the borders/icon aren't? Like with the Zed one, didn't they say that the border and chromas and their icons were exclusive to 2018? If they bring the chromas back then shouldn't they bring back the border for people who bought the chroma last year, cause right now it seems really unfair that people who bought the icon last year can have the complete set for their champ while people who brought the chroma last year can't even get the border and icon, which in my opinion has a much better icon than the shitty gold border icon from the chroma.

There was no official statement that the chromas were Limited. I'm sorry for those who made decisions assuming they were. Going forward, it should be made clear that event chromas are Legacy and that loading screen borders are Limited.

They drop one random Skin shard; they include Legacy Skins so they may drop Championship Skins, including Ryze! Keep in mind that they aren't weighted for any specific kind of skin; it's one out of literally all skins, not just eSport skins or some other theme.
