Hey Tacticians, welcome to the Teamfight Tactics patch 9.14B notes.

In these B-side patches we'll be making changes focused on balance and bugfixes. This week, the biggest change is to critical strike modifiers with the aim of toning down the damage Assassins bring to the table. Additional highlights include: Volibear and Cursed Blade getting nerfs, while Sorcerer and Wild get buffs.

Systems

Critical Strike Damage

  • Critical strike damage now stacks additively rather than multiplicatively. Paired with changes to Assassins and Infinity Edge, also in this patch, Assassins will deal around 25% less damage and IE will come out net neutral.

  • The Guardian trait no longer fades when a guardian dies.

    Any chance we can get a quality of life fix on the "Play Again" button when coming out of a ranked game? Currently we are placed back into either a normal or a ranked game, seemingly randomly. It is causing confusion and frustration to a lot of summoners.

    How about the champs that just stand there and dont attack? It happens quite a bit i have noticed.

    Am I the only one who feels Glacial stuns for way too long and the chance for restun should go down over time? For example, rank 2 Ashe arrow stuns for 5 seconds and she also has the chance to stun on every auto attack for 2 seconds that stacks.

    I don’t know if this is just me but everytime I’m in a game where redemption in play it triggers before death. Is that intentional or am I reading it incorrectly

    Suggestions!

    • On the profile we have 2 empty slots for Clash which is not live nor will be soon but you rushed out tft and aren't using them to showcase our rank level !?! That would be awesome

    • Increase the animation speed on Varus and TF abilities because when you put some attack speed (esp. guinsoo) on them they 'lose' out on a bunch of autos (tf still autos but is not stacking mana while it chooses a card)

    Nice patch, but guys... you REALLY need to buff knights. The poppy buff is a first step but the rest are still absolute garbage tier right now. 50hp to mord is useless, buff his atk spd or something pls. 5 ad off kennen seems like a slap on the wrist. Also morellos was already strong so I'm not sure it needed a buff. Sorc will still be weak, they need some champion tweaking.

    Two things that I hope you guys have for quality of life changes are: 1: Specator mode 2: Match History I don't know exactly how you would do Spectator mode since in regular league games they have 3 minute delay because you don't want to have someone sniping helping someone out, BUT maybe you have a 1 minute difference or 2? So then you can't see other people's rolls or maybe have NO delay but you can't see what's in the shop so then you can't look at others. Match History though is a given. It doesn't HAVE to be on the client but at least have a website that shows the "end game" screen. It doesn't HAVE to show items but that would be nice if you could add that as well.

    Could you take a look at Kassidin's mana drain? Currently it drains so much mana that the other char NEVER can get an ult of. This is a tad harsh for just one char. For contrast, think of demons. It takes all six just to get an 85% chance to burn all mana. Kass effectively burns "all" mana every strike since mana can never reaches max. Suggested fix would be to give Kass only a 50% chance to mana drain, or (even better), make it Kass's ult.

    Currently Kass is a tad OP IMO. At best the character should delay the arrival of an ult, not mitigate it completely. Whole comps don't even do that.

    Please fix bug , when you chose a champ in carousel, it becaomes a diff champ when yr back at yr bench. Alos disappearing items. Seriously annoying. when you pick up 3 from golems and them they are gone

    Quite a few of the ults on champs need to have a smaller radius/zone. So many of them shouldn't be taking up 1/3 to 1/2 of the map/playing area.

    Also, glacial stuns for way too long. It's like they just get to free hit on you for 3-5 seconds.

    The health on shapeshifter/elemental pets are too large. Champs auto target them, which then gives enemy champs all the time they need to just blow away your comp. Either nerf their health a lot more or have allied champs target the enemy champ instead of the pet/familiar.

    So can someone explain to me the following does riot does not realize that ninjas are broken and they need a nerf , on top of that akali it so boosted that a unit with PD can still be crit by her abilities. Please riot used a little of logic and brain and make a nerf to ninjas
