It won't help new players at all. But it seems like one possible solution to IP sink. And at 10x, people's accounts will run dry :)

Huracań1 votesthat can be a good idea but whats in it for Riot? if riot gonna do that then the new players would definitely get screwed over and it would affect Riot's relationship with new players. Old players get the opportunity to buy some skins with ip while others have to buy with rp. If you can buy ip with rp then thats a different story.

As a new player, i already feel like lack of IP sucks. But this change wouldnt affect me. Actually it would make me happier since if I really liked a skin I could at least maybe get it, or get some cheap skins.
Maybe they could have a limit pee champ or increasing price per purchase. But those limits both sound terrible.
