The Tales of the Kindred Act 3: Beauty in Vengeance Episode 3: Stage Prep

(Jhin was preparing his "stage" for his performance. He delegated Lamb to "advertising", which meant she went to work spreading the rumors of Hecarim that she had planned before. Wolf, however, was having to bring big branches to set up Jhin's stage.) Kindred : Lamb, how much longer are we going to put up with this? Well, he's here, he has a bullet that can kill Hecarim, and he wants to kill Hecarim. Why get in the way? Jhin : Less talk, more action. We have to get this stage perfect. Kindred : I hope he runs when it's his time to die... Behave Wolf. (Wolf dragged the last branch to Jhin) Jhin : Here, this should balance the stage (He pointed to a space nearby where branches had been built around to make a nest. Jhin paced around the nest, then attached his cane to the end of Whisper. Wolf watched curiously as Jhin knelt inside the nest and raised Whisper as a rifle. After a few moments, he emerged.) Jhin : Unacceptable! This won't do at all. We need to move the stage a few feet to the right. (Wolf growled at him.) Well, what are you waiting for wolfie? Chop chop. Kindred : I've got your 'chop chop'... One day... (Lamb walked over and helped Wolf move the nest.) Kindred : What do you think he'd say if he found out we've already killed some of the Shadow Isles Lords? I think we'd be best off-- Jhin : WHAT?! You've already killed some of the Shadow Isles Lords? Kindred : Yeah, Karthus and Thresh. And Kalista was slain earlier by Hecarim. Jhin : 3 of them have been slain. That means I will be killing the fourth. Perfection! We must hurry to ensure everything is perfect. Kindred : This is getting old... Just a little longer Wolf. (Wolf's ears perked as all three looked around. A rhythmic beating was barely audible.) Kindred : That sounds like... Hoofbeats. Hecarim's coming. (Jhin quickly knelt down in the nest and went to work assembling Whisper.) Jhin : Places everyone places! Our performance must be perfect! (Jhin loaded the special golden bullet into his clip first, and then added three more normal bullets on top of it before loading the clip into Whisper.) Kindred : (Picks up the item 3599 ) Kindred, center stage.
