Learn More: Spring Split Finals Missions

Riot·Apr 5, 2019·0 votes·29,473 views

You’ve watched and earned for Spring Split, but now it’s time to cap off this season with the Spring Finals Mission! Soon before Finals start, you will receive a mission to watch your regional league’s Finals. As always, you can watch it live or as a VOD but only up to 7 days after the match ends in order to earn. You must be logged in and watching on watch.lolesports.com or on the League Friends App (download iOS/Android). You need to watch at least 10 minutes of a game for it to count toward mission progress.

Below are the missions and rewards you can expect, but as a reminder, you will only receive the mission that corresponds to your region; so if you’re playing in EU, you’ll receive the LEC mission, and if you’re playing in Brazil, you’ll receive the CBLoL mission.

The Grand Finale (LLA)	Watch 3 games of the LLA finals on watch.lolesports.com	Reward: LLA Opening Split Finals Icon
The Grand Finale (CBLoL)	Watch 3 games of the CBLoL finals on watch.lolesports.com	Reward: CBLoL 1st Split Finals Icon
The Grand Finale (LEC)	Watch 3 games of the LEC finals on watch.lolesports.com	Reward: LEC Spring Split Finals Icon
The Grand Finale (LCS)	Watch 3 games of the LCS finals on watch.lolesports.com	Reward: LCS Spring Split Finals Icon
The Grand Finale (TCL)	Watch 3 games of the TCL finals on watch.lolesports.com	Reward: TCL Winter Split Finals Icon
The Grand Finale (OPL)	Watch 3 games of the OPL finals on watch.lolesports.com	Reward: OPL Split 1 Finals Icon
The Grand Finale (LJL)	Watch 3 games of the LJL finals on watch.lolesports.com	Reward: LJL Spring Split Finals Icon

Excluding the icon you can earn, all of these icons will be available in store for 250 RP until April 27 23:59 PT. You can also check out your mission progress and total games watched on the rewards hub.

What if I'm going to see the LCS Finals live? Will I have to rewatch the games to get that sweet icon? Amumu

CyafectionsApr 5, 201914 votes

You can always play them on your computer and mute them while you do other things

Shhhh, don't give away our secrets.

IzzraelApr 6, 20197 votes

Hey, Riot gets paid either way so it really doesn't matter.

RiotRiot TalumarApr 5, 201942 votes

Nope, you will not have to rewatch it! We'll be handing out cards with the LCS icon code at the Finals venue c:

I was just going to ask this. Any other swag at the event?

FoF QazaqwertApr 5, 20191 votes

WoogletsWitchcapApr 6, 20191 votes

That sucks man, sorry to hear that. Its a shame they cancelled the fan event, that would be perfect for people in your situation I think.

I've wondered about this in the past. https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/esports/YAruExby-worlds-attendees-and-missions

There really should be some way for in-person attendees to get credit for missions.

SirLimpskiApr 5, 201910 votes

LCK isn't there either.

Inori marry meApr 5, 20197 votes

Excuse me but where is our lpl icon?

LCKApr 5, 20196 votes

Where the hell is the LCK icon? Amumu Amumu Amumu Amumu Amumu Amumu

Hijikata99Apr 6, 20196 votes

I prefer watching the LCK over watching the other regions (I do watch the other regions as well, just not as much as the LCK,) but since I play in NA, I'd get stuck with the LCS Spring Final Mission? That's kinda unfortunate...

sooo title says finals missions...i expected more then one mission, is it a typo?

and if it's MISSIONS because each region gets one... it pretty lame because if we get only one mission it's still MISSION not MISSIONS because everyone get to do only one and it's the same for everyone... so it's the FINAL SPRING SPLIT MISSION for your region..not it's all the missions for the event even if you get to do only one and it's the same only one for everyone...AKA ONE MISSION!

will there be more missions regarding spring split finals?

it would also be nice if people could choose what type of rewards they want from some rare/special missions like those....i dont want the icon but i would choose BE...OE...a ward...an emote instead

OnlyMathiasApr 5, 20195 votes

What if you only really watch LEC and but you live in the states? How will I get the icon I really want instead of the one I have to get?

SirLimpskiApr 5, 20192 votes

You can buy them from the shop. That's the only way to get one from outside your region I believe.

SeeMeNoMasApr 5, 20191 votes

you do know you can watch every region on lolesports right?

Have VarietyApr 6, 20193 votes

It literally says you only get the icon for the region your account is set up for.

Dear Rioters,

A) I kindly ask you to make efforts/inform us about possibility to link LoL account to social media platforms regarding watch and earn missions.

Example: watch lol Esports game on phone/tv (with youtube) then the other day get to pc see the mission and 'force' us for relevant rewards to watch? (or are you fine with players having such run in background?)

I think you could get lot more information about players with linking like this (which could be relevant at targeting audiance especially about anything visual like skins, event designs etc.). On the other hand players could get more comfort by enjoying e-sport without the need to login on page.

B) Actually I'm unsure if stream can be viewed in mobile app, but it would be nice if at least at mobiles for now there would be some connection between LoL and Yt app.

C) As I see you'll c my region with having my post, can you inform us if having vote for player of game at LEC or whom to watch in POV stream could be done on other platfrom than twitter too? Is it sponsor or Riot related? (I kinda feel like it is related to spring split missions even though this parts gets off-topic a bit)

Thank you for your attention,

DSW94

Sir PaulinatingApr 9, 20191 votes

I second this, because I usually will just watch the games on my YT app on my tv. It’d be nice to do the missions and not have to project from my laptop.

Touch OffApr 6, 20193 votes

Why can't we have icons of regions other than our own? Some people might enjoy watching LCK/LCS/LEC more than the region they are playing on :<

Tesla EffectApr 5, 20192 votes

Not really interested in doing missions that only give me icons I frankly dont need that much. Maybe if you sweeten the deal with XP or BE I may consider.

GoldenWidgetApr 5, 20192 votes

Oh, rip I'm going to the LCS Finals. D: NOOOOOOoooooo....

Gh0stBulletApr 5, 20197 votes

There's a comment above that says that people going to the live event will get a code with the player icon!

AthenäApr 5, 20192 votes

This sucks I really love the LEC but live in the US

Sisters10086Apr 6, 20192 votes

welp I only watch lpl and lck...

FatalBytesApr 6, 20192 votes

This kinda sucks because I have never really been a fan of NALCS even though I live in NA, I'm more of an LEC fan, is there any way I can get that LEC icon?

CorgiBotApr 9, 20192 votes

What if I watch LPL and not any of these regions....is there going to be an LPL one?

How Do You MetaApr 5, 20191 votes

I stopped these watch and earn missions because they are horribly bugged and waste my time and effort. They are usually unclear on which games to watch as some games do not count towards my completion of the rewards, which makes me have to watch more of them. Yes I'm aware you can tab out of the videos and play league but that kind of defeats the purpose of these missions.

I mean... probs isnt going to work like normal. I've watched all of spring split NA and a couple EU matches but most of the missions didnt count it Amumu

KoopsTheBoopsApr 6, 20191 votes

Yes, this was the account that was logged into on the watch.lolesports.com site
