You guys should really put the video on the client so it's easier to watch rather than moving into chrome.

Hey Riot Swimbananas, I think this show would be great with a co-host. It seems a little odd when it's only you presenting everything. If you had one more person I believe you would be able to make the show a lot more engaging and it would allow for dialogue, instead of a monologue. I love your personality, however, the show needs diversity in order to showcase the vast diversity among League players.

I had to actually think about the joke on that last sequence there. It was Riot swimbananas cosplaying as Riot Tryndamere, after cosplaying as the character Tryndamere during the episode proper. An impressive piece of meta-humor to be sure, but because I had to actually think about the joke there it came of as less 'haha, clever' and more 'man, that's awkward.'

And 'man, that's awkward' was the tone for the whole episode, hence the comments on the 'include this in a compilation of Rioters inducing moments of cringe.'

If 'cringe' was your goal, then you have done well. If not, please go through some of the Riot Nikasaur tapes to see how format and pacing can let the artwork speak for itself, and have the 'cringe' speak a little less.

When I hear "Summoner Showcase" it makes me think of showcasing players for gameplay and achievements, not on art and cosplay. Not that those things are bad, but its not what I would think of. I also think that highlighting players from the community(as was very briefly done for Spotlight) would honestly be much more interesting for me.

I liked the Johnny Junkers shoutout, a good way to show what other players/watchers are doing. The oration was also pretty good; enthusiastic, yet not as over-the-top as previous episodes. Excellent growth as a caster!

My personal preference is for longer episodes, with a little more focus on more obscure data -- data diver at your service! So that little cameo with Spotlight is a great inclusion. A common stereotype of gamers is the overweight chair-warmer, or the skin-baring diva; this helps promote both fitness and a wider audience reality.

One suggestion; would you have tips on fitness for gamers? One reason some gamers get into gaming is because of injuries, whether back or leg, so anything in that area would help.

Something's missing from this... I can't pinpoint it, but I do wanna say that I'm glad to see something like this as seeing what the community is doing makes me a happy boi.Also, maybe putting these on youtube would be nice so I can subscribe to it without having to make a facebook account.

I love it. It may seem a bit dorky, but it's in a good way. Some more puns, guest stars and keep the creations coming! I missed summoner's showcase while it was gone and this is better than none.

It's not the worst thing ever, it's just kind of ..."okay". My gripes would be the hit-or-miss writing, inconsistent pace and overdone goofiness of the host. Also the splash art for the show is really bad, it's too bright and childish. You may want to make the episodes a little longer, and try to give them a unique flair that's enjoyable. Perhaps add two hosts this time instead of one, or tone down the hyperactivity of the single host into something a little more relatable. I believe in you! I just think you got to get into your groove, that's all. Good luck!

I feel like a lot of people are being hard on Swimbananas, but I just wanna say I love you and keep up the good work! Being in the public eye obviously invites criticism, but please don't let people just bashing on you get to you. You're absolutely amazing and I'd kill to do what you do!

Hi, this is the first Summoner's Showcase that I've ever watched and I think it was pretty entertaining. The art was really cool and I learned about a streamer that I've never watched before. I just wish you showed a bit more because the video was kinda short.

Anyways, great job! I'll watch the next one, too.

Facebook videos actually does a huge diservice when watching it on mobile. At least for me.

The window locks and just a corner of the video shows.

Kinda Found This Summoner Show case boring I know the theme was abs but maybe you could have changed it up a bit to suit it but something different, the jokes were understandable and pretty good. But other than that good job Ik you take your time and effort into making these things ^__^

This just isn't super enjoyable to watch. It's too frantic and kinda jumbled. That paired with the music makes it seem like i'm watching a bad MTV skit.

I'll give credit where it's due. The music definitely fits the pace/feel of the video, but this just isn't how the video is supposed to feel. Precise, not accurate.

Just IMO, bring back the slower and more detailed Showcase where each piece is at least taken into moderate consideration noting some of the crazy work put into them.

I know it's not as simple as just getting a room to host in and get a larger crew, but even simply sitting in a chair while talking about the creations is an improvement. Standing makes it seem like you're trying to go somewhere or move on quickly, while sitting makes you seem more involved and, thus, makes us more involved.

It doesn't have to be anything major, just a few tweeks here and there and we can make Summoner's Showcase great again!

I've never posted in these forums before, but as a professional video editor here are my thoughts:

Maybe this is a conversation with your editor and not you, but pick one type of transition and stick with it. Often you are blinking in dashing around, fading back and forth, but it does not help your video quality to present all these types of movements.

I know you are trying to make something eye catchy, but think holistically: you are presenting SUMMONERS not RIOTERS. This is time for the community to enjoy the fruits of the community, not what I'm assuming to be Riot culture.

You have a great personality but that's not what this video is trying to sell...wow us with your art, not your act then you will find your own voice to interact with the community.

Also the green screen takes were very poorly lit. At least give us good lighting to show how well drawn on your beard was!

I loved the old show but I'm not very excited about this one. This one is too zoomed in the whole time, and the pacing is a little too fast. Also, I don't like how there is no room now. The old show felt like a talk show but this one feels more like a weather report. I'd also like it if you could watch it in the client. The jokes, while rather forced at times, are not the main concern, imo. I think the show would be a lot better if the format was changed. Like I said, I loved the old show so my criticism is meant to be constructive because I'd like the new show to be just as good.

dont add stuff to the client page anymore, the client takes years to load, itll just take longer if you add stuff on it.
