Can I get a blue post on exactly why you are working so hard to make Rengar's ult pointless? Perhaps it's my lack of understanding of design, or perhaps it's my understanding of design, but the last 3? 4? patches to Rengar have been working hard at completely working against the point of his ultimate.
You complained that he was using his abilities to split push then stealth out of danger. So you chopped his ult and abilities up so they don't work on towers and he's much slower and can't escape reliably with it. Then you decided stealth was no good, so now they get warning he's there (why stealth at all?). Now it's completely idiot-proof, giving everyone within 2 screens warning that he's stealthed nearby.
Not only that, but he got the Nocturne treatment--you didn't add a few seconds to his ult window. It's now two and a half minutes. Junglers are now considered smarter spending their time trying to get to L11 for the shorter cooldown than ganking. So...yet another Shyvana / WW farm jungler that ignores lanes and tries to carry late. How...exciting.
I have no idea why blowing up squishies that are out of place is such a terrible thing, Rengar is an assassin and that's what he does. If you'd nerfed his ult and left it alone, at least he'd still be an assassin. Now when I see Rengar's portrait all I see is a gigantic police light on his head. HERE COMES AN ASSASSIN, BACK UP TO A TURRET & WAIT 10S UNTIL HIS ULT GOES ON 2.5 MIN COOLDOWN.
