Nonsense. They were totally unique skin and game play conceptions from riot and they totally didnt blatantly steal from a show.

For one, Toph and Katarina would be very proud. Second, they didn't steal shit. If you actually read the insights and listen to the podcast, or even just read the lore, you'd know that Taliyah is very different from the benders in Avatar. She is Riot's own version of an Earth Mage. Saying they stole her from Toph is the same as saying Avatar stole Toph from Teen Titans. Plus, HOW COULD THEY NOT MAKE AN ICE SKIN? If they hadn't made Freljord Taliyah it would have been a real shame. Clearly they noticed the similarities Taliyah had with benders from Avatar as well and were inspired by that in making her release skin. Inspiration isn't the same as theft. Plenty of skins are inspired by outside works, such as the Super Galaxy skins, all of which are quite awesome. As an Avatar fan I'm quite pleased with all of it. New favorite champ for sure.
