I think the new stun is fine... though it looks like it does alot less damage at close range... But thats now his ONLY damaging ability... Making it impossible for him to 1v1 other champs like he used to, the new passive only serves to slow down his CD cycling, his W, was imo what set a good Taric apart from a bad one, using shatter going in to a teamfight could easily mean suicide, whereas using it once you're relatively safe could secure a kill on a Tanky enemy... his ult can change to just about anything and it would be fine, cause noone ever appreciated the buff anyways, but a Taric with high armor could deal a rather large amount of damage with his W alone... his heal already had a 3 sec CD if you run 45% CDR (As I do) if you used his passive properly, his stun and w were also on 3-4 sec CDs and you could proc an iceborn gauntlet literally every time it was off CD, combine that with his high Base AD and he was a force to be reckoned with... A sleeper juggernaut, who could out Mundo a Mundo that was 3 levels higher than him if played right... (And Ive done it plenty)
Now he has a stun... Maybe... and his Base AD has been nerfed, so sheen items are less useful... he had 3 bursty abilities before and now sometimes one... and the fact that is has a wind-up time, means that if you try to use it against anyone who has a dash, juke, leap, roll, jump, hop-on-staff, flash-like-ability, shield, spell shield, spell imunity bubble, Time-rewind, or zhonya-like ability, can negate it... which leaves only the random Draven or MF actually susceptible to it... I'm just saying, other than the original BARD, who ells can miss with their only damaging ability, and literally not have anything ells in his kit to fall back on until it's off CD again?
Also that nearly every post in here says "Awesome Taric Buff... His new visuals make him OP" just serves to show that noone in here actually liked to play him or could do well playing him, as an ACTUAL Taric main... (who after this update is probably quitting league because my main got deleted and replaced with Taric-the-gay-one-hit-wonder-joke-meme-guy-that-likes-Ezreal, looks-like-Fabio-and-is-fabulous[as if any of those really SHOULD be his identifiers]) I frequently do quite well as Taric, he had the most complete kit in the league, and could do well on his stats alone, items just made him better... now, he has to be glued to an ADC like he was Kalista or something, because he cant fight even the weakest of champs 1v1, the "Battle-Cleric" bit sounded good until you explained his kit better and he's like a "joke-cleric" in all actuality,
