The new and improved Urgot is available now. His new skin bundle includes the previously locked-away legacy skin Butcher Urgot!

The Fear Beyond Death Bundle will be available for 1912 RP (or 2504 RP if you need the champion) from 7/25 through 7/31.

Butcher Urgot (legacy content, only available 7/25 through 7/31)

am i the only one noticing the direct similarity to Kaiju from Pacific Rim with the Giant Enemy Crabgot skin? it looks similar to the opening fight between Gypsy Danger(i also think that Mecha Aatrox is based off Gypsy) and the KnifeHead Kaiju

I wouldn't say Mecha AAtrox is based of Gypsy, it's just a generic Mech and that's been a thing for 40ish years thanks to Gundam. I don't know for certain, but I think Mecha Aatrox came out before Pacific Rim anyways. Crabgot def looks like a Kaiju though, the one that attacked the Asian girl in her memory in particular, but then again I don't know how different you could make giant crab monsters look. lol

Mecha Aatrox im pretty sure might have come out after pacific rim because i remember getting excited and buying it because it looked so much like Gypsy

You were right I just looked it up and Pacific Rim came out a year before Mecha Aatrox, however I don't really see it as a Gypsy reference personally as besides being a Mech it doesn't look any more like Gypsy than any other Mech. Besides, Gypsy was a reference to Gundam, and many of the scenes from Pacific Rim came directly from Gundam, so if Aatrox was a gypsy reference then he's really just a weird second hand Gundam reference. lol The Mecha concept does a pretty good job standing on it's own though.

the reason i think the mecha skins(mecha Malphite and aatrox, not so much sion) are a reference to Pacific Rim are because of the style of the splash arts, they are shown in massive hangars with repairs ect. being done and in Aatrox's you can see him leaving the hangar through massive doors, not to mention if you compare Gipsy and Aatrox, you see a lot of similarities, from the shoulder plates(in this case Aatrox's wings) to the reactor core in the center of the chest, as well they have identical colour schemes.

Mecha Aatrox is definitely a tribute to Gypsy, they got the same color scheme and reactor core.

I personally don't think they look any more similar to each other than any other mechs; they're quite different in design and body style and the colour scheme really isn't all that similar besides that they're both bluish gray, and the chest reactor is a common theme for mechs. I personally think Mecha Aatrox references a transformer with his back animation and his design more than he does Gypsy, but the thing about the Mecha concept is that it's very open to different interpretations, so you might see it as similar to Gypsy, but not everyone will and that makes it more appealing to different people which is great for marketing. Frankly I highly doubt he was designed specifically to be a Gypsy reference, as that's dangerous for them to do for copyright reasons, I really think they were just trying to capitalize on the Mecha craze to make some quality skins and some dough.

Nope, Butcher was only available during the Harrowing sale, and even then, it only appeared a couple times. Got mine 2013. Kinda bummed out that everyone is going to have it now, what with the rework and everything; it defeats the purpose of owning a legacy skin. Not even an icon for those who already had the skin =/

I'm sorry, but it's unreasonable to expect any sort of compensation when a Legacy Skin is rereleased. It is assumed that any Legacy Skin will eventually go on sale again; it's not like they're a one time deal. Limited Skins are the ones that players have reasons to get up in arms about, as long as they were announced as Skins that would never return. (This is why Medieval Twitch and Grey Warwick's return is okay, because Riot said they would return.)

The purpose of owning a Legacy Skin is the same purpose as owning a Skin. It makes your Champion look cool. Legacy Skins are just less available.

Is there a bug with Urgot and his use of Stormraider's Surge? It seems really clunky to me, like he speeds up for a tenth of a second then slows again and repeating with speeding up and slowing down really fast.

Can Urgot even proc Stormraider's Surge consistently? If you're going down that tree, Thunderlord's Decree or even Windspeaker's Blessing seem like better keystone options.

Back when I started playing, I was an Ahri main. She is a nine tailed fox, or a kitsune. (Technically she is based on a Kumiho, which is the Korean version, but I didn't know that at the time.) I also just like the number 18 for some reason.

im still good wit him. What you mean stronger? you mean weaker? He just tanker. You just dont know how to play the old one like I do. 95% win with him all the time when I play him. I delete anyone with him. My damage be 40k to 55k. Everytime I play him. Barely lose a lane with him. i can win 1 vs 3 with the old versiom. Expect when I get champ on or ganked.
