Patch Notes: Lore Edition

Riot·Oct 5, 2018·3 votes·5,739 views

There's always more to explore in the universe of Runeterra. Here are the latest stories from beyond Summoner's Rift:

Ezreal: Updated Bio

Who needs a map when you've got the gauntlet of a god-warrior?

Ezreal: An Explorer's Journey

A handwritten (and illustrated) account of the discovery of the Vault of Resplendent Holies in old Oshra Va'Zaun.

Ezreal: The Curator's Gambit

What price will be paid for an ancient vial that can raise the dread lord? No seriously, how much?

Lucian: Hunter of Shadows

Once, he struggled to sling light with the relic guns. Then he lost her, and everything changed.

Kassadin: Whom does the Desert Know?

A god-warrior once wielded the Netherblade. Now Kassadin carries on his legacy—and his burden.

Under the new Lucian bio, the word “everything” has a typo in it.

This should now be fixed. Thanks for the catch!

I appreciate this kind of post! I love the lore, but sometimes it's hard to know what champions have new stories and what things are added to the universe map at what time. So if you like reading it all, it's still easy to have great stories missed without realizing it. Patch notes for these kind of updates are a good idea, I hope you do more of them in the future!

Will this be a regular feature? Or just part of Ezreal's rework promotion?

I’m an Ornn main and lore is 70% of why I enjoy playing this game and any other game. So, can we please get an Ornn update? I posted a theory up about the correlation between the Freljordian Gods and Targon and Shurima.
