We're excited to announce our collaboration with Funko on a new line of League of Legends Pop! vinyl figures. You can choose from Vi, Braum, Jinx, Lee Sin, Ashe, and Thresh.

The collection premieres today for pre-order at GameStop. For those who want to be friends forever with our favorite Sad Mummy, a limited-edition Amumu Pop! is also available for pre-order exclusively through the League of Legends Collector's Box. The box comes with a mini Lucian figure, a Thresh Pocket Pop! Keychain and a mystery three pack of mini Poros (Poro, Gentleman Poro, Draven Poro, PROJECT Poro, Shadow Isles Poro, King Poro) -- which three will you get?

The Pop! Collection is launching in North America but will become available in additional regions later in the year.

Making figures of popular champs is one thing. Making figures of the same champs over and over is another.

Aten has a point. Popular or not, there are some LoL players who actually like a champion because of their moveset, design, and quotes. Most people play Jinx, Thresh, Lee Sin, and Vi because they're popular meta picks, not because people like them from a collector's standpoint.

Marketing 101, if you're going to advertise and promote LoL or any game related merchandise, then at least know who your customer base is. Generally speaking, not many LoL players are avid figure collectors. Probably a majority of them are either PC gamers, screaming 10 year olds, retired LCS players, Youtubers, people with no interest in collecting game paraphernalia, or probably a combination of everything I've mentioned

I'm sorry, but I am still waiting for my Riven and Yasuo statues and I get this. I am so sad right now.

Also..if you want a larger than normal figurine...tanks are probably the better ones to look at 1st..since they are generally larger than other champs?

Mundo and Cho are usually played full tank. Same with Reksai. Skarner and Morde both classify as "juggernauts" which are a sub category of tanks. So only Anivia and Sol don't fill the tank role.

And keep in mind anything can be played full damage, it doesn't change the role they best fit.

She* kinda is. Not shen/maokai levels of full tank, but usually 1-2 damage items for early clear/pressure into full tank.

I admit that compared to the others he is built tank the least often, but he does still fill the role of a tank.

She still fills the role of a tank, admittedly an offensive one.  The difference between a full tank and an offensive one is that a full tank can full the role on their own while you usually have 2+ offensive tanks working together to tank for the team.  Early game she is definitely a bruiser/fighter and CAN be built that way all game but optimally she transitions into a tank mid-late game as she doesn't provide much damage and lacks the stickyness/burst of a proper bruiser.  

I admit my initial statement of "full tank" was incorrect, however she isn't a jgler you pick when you need a bruiser or other large damage source.  You pick her for early pressure after which point she turns into a dependable and fairly decent offensive tank for your team.  She definitely isn't Maokai levels of tank but Rek'Sai _is_ still more of a tank than a damage/utility source.

I'm glad to have pops, but I don't understand why you guys would agree to do a collaboration. You guys already have your own style of figurines available on your merch store, and for over double to price of these. Is there not any kind of concern that the sale of those will plummet drastically now that Funko is selling their own version of figures?

There again I'm glad to have pop figures, but it seems like you guys are putting your other figures out of business, unintentionally or otherwise.

I'm curious about this as well. Tbh I never purchased their figures because they are so expensive. $25 for a small figure is a little absurd. The Lucian mini figure makes me think they will release a mystery mini figure line in the future. I'd rather league work on more plushies and statues. Leave the vinyl figures to Funko.

It's ok to know that they announced releasing a LoL collector's box with Funko figures. However, I would kill (figuratively speaking) for a Riven, Kennen, or Yasuo statue. I find it wrong that Riot would release figures for characters that are mostly played in ranked/competitive play.

Well, I'd be totally willing to buy these and the collectors box if any of them were champions I like, but most of these are champions that already have merch available for purchase in your store... and in the set of figures you ALREADY have available. It's a poor choice, you really could have expanded your champion pool in the merch.

The GameStop's Canadian counterpart is EBGames, but they don't have have it available for pre-order there. Any idea when (if?) it might show up on a Canadian store?

I was going to pre-order it from GameStop.com, but they're charging $15US per item for international handling...so Amumu + Thresh = $37US + $30US handling fee? F*ck that.

Hey Riot! I think it's time for you guys to do series 2 for Pop Vinyl Figures! Maybe do a Baron 6" or Elder Dragon 6" .. You have a ton of champions that you can do a ton of series! Would be wicked if you guys continue with them! My husband and I have been on the search for the ones we are missing and well ha ha been hard! Series 2 PLEASE!! <3
