and leona
. diana and zed have both found hidden treasures that set them apart from their respective groups. they both also went on killing sprees that were stopped by their rival. shen and leona were special and set apart from the group (shen was at the top of his class so i think that counts) and had childhood freinds. the thing that really links them is gameplay. shen and leona are tanks that have ap ratios that can be played as supports. zed and diana are assassins that can be played as fighters.
there are more but that is your job, help me find more examples.
serban170310 votesWell they are what you described, except not alternate universes of eachother. They are concurrent in the same universe. I like the mechanics description, but I can't see them so similar because of the story. Where Diana more or less stumbled upon the shrine and the power making her the champion of the Moon, Zed was always very much the outlier and believed that they were bing held back by Shen's father. Also, where Diana is more or less hunted down by Leona and Pantheon, Zed has his own followers now and the two organizations are rather equally matched. Otherwise yeah, pretty damn close, though Leona top-lane is a lot harder to pull off than support and vice-versa for Shen
