one that really ticks me off is when people say vi-gar. it's spelled veigar. what else in the english language is spelled with the "ei"? neighbor and weigh. you say it as ney-bor not ni-bor. so please pronounce it vey-gar and not vi-gar.

I'd actually really like to hear a Rioter just read through a list of the names. Particularly absent were Yasuo (YaSUo, YAsuo?) and Taric.
People whose names I need definite pronunciations on: Veigar (Vay-gar or Veye-gar?) XIN ZHAO Irelia (Eye-relia or Ear-elia) Taric (Tear-ick or Tar-ick?) Varus (Vair-us or Var-us?)
I see all these posts about how to pronounce champion names and not one person points out that pitch perfect "Marvin the Martian" reference?

Holy wow... Had Akali, Shaco, and Nasus wrong. ak-ali shack-o Nay-sus
Akali and Shaco at least I had thought of the other way and just felt the way I sounded it above seemed more natural. I never thought once of Nas-us though and even knowing now that's how it should be pronounced I can't make myself do it. It just sounds so wrong!
Better just call him Susan from now on I guess...

The name LeBlanc is often pronounced like this in last names but surprisingly in the champion spotlight they pronounce it differently, I thought this was worth mentioning.
