The ultra-rare PAX Sivir will return to the grid with new colors as Neo PAX Sivir, craftable with 10 gemstones from 8/31/17 at 11:00 PT until 1/8/18 at 23:59 PT, when it will return to the Legacy vault. Neo PAX Sivir will also drop as a skin shard, which has an increased chance to appear in the new Epic Capsules.

Epic Capsules do not require a key and contain three skin shards, with one guaranteed to be Epic or higher. They have an increased chance to drop gemstones, and the store will also feature a bundle of five Epic Capsules with a bonus Hextech Chest and Key. Epic Capsules will be available until 9/7/17 at 23:59 PT for 750 RP each.

Owners of the original PAX Sivir skin will automatically receive Neo PAX Sivir and a special loading screen border for their OG skin. The original PAX Sivir will NOT be given away, added to loot, or made available again.

Neo PAX Sivir skin codes will also be included in swag bags for PAX West 2017. Read more about Riot’s return to PAX here.

If you sold this skin I'd buy it, and if PAX was at all near me I'd go, but I'm not going to throw large amounts of cash into what amounts to a lottery hoping to get it. Seems like Riot really likes taking advantages of people's gambling addictions [slayer-jinx-wink]

So seeing as I have PAX Sivir on my account right now (have had for quite a few years actually but that's not the point) I get this Neo PAX Sivir free? But it's just going to change colors correct? Not add a crown or anything like Championship Riven did?

That's what I want to know too -- I want the skin but I don't really want to spend the money trying to get it since I already have PAX Sivir... It's only fair that Pax Sivir owners get this version too.

The post does say that if you already own PAX Sivir you get Neo Pax Sivir for free and an exclusive Border on PAX Sivir. I was just clarifying that nothing else was changing on the original PAX Sivir.

Yes, you'll get Neo PAX Sivir automatically. You'll still have the original PAX Sivir, too, which will get an exclusive border.

OG Pax Sivir has a color scheme of black/dark grey with blue some spots of red here and there.

Neo PAX has a color scheme of Yellow, blue, and a lighter shade of grey.

I would guess they would look different in game as the differences in their splash arts imply.

Except the original skin is still separate, so we don't lose anything. All we get is an extra border, and a newer, different PAX Sivir.

THIS TIME, the rerelease of championship riven is hardly anything. No recolor, and only a loading screen when people complained about it enough. Tbh a crown and a little extra flair during ult is hardly worth the fact that they re released it, most people can't even tell the difference because everyone just alt tabs during loading screen. Now if they'd actually given her a real recall animation to match the rest of the championship skins, I'd be happy, as it stands all she does is raise her sword, while the rest of the championship skins get pedestals, altars, a goddamn throne. Championship Riven owners were severely gimped and its only natural for Cliffspringer to feel upset about it, despite PAX sivir owners getting a MUCH better deal

Yeah, I took it more as him feeling sorry for people who had OG CS riven. PAX Sivir is getting a hugely better deal. The difference between the OG and Neo will be immediate, the colors are different, even the name is different. CS Riven got a lazy ass "CS Riven 2016", and the only differences in game are a miniscule crown, and a slightly increased glow on her sword during ult. Aside from those two differences, CS 2016 and OG CS are exactly the same, and that ain't right

Except you're wrong. Riven did get recolored. You'd know anything if you knew how textures worked. She got the crown immediately, not after complaining - Don't shitpost. She also has new effects and models in game as well as a loading screen and is way more valuable than Riven 2016. You most likely don't even have the original Riven either.

retexture =/= recolor, it would've happened eventually with a texture update, same with new effects. The new effects are also on the 2016 one, making it so the new effects were essentially a VU for the skin. The "different" model is legit a crown placed on top of her head and it's very easy to miss. Again loading screen borders are easily missed by most players since most alt tab during the loading screen. I do have the original CS Riven, it's the only reason I'm complaining. Side by side, Original CS Riven and 2016 have very few differences.

If you're talking about new effects for the original, it really is only a VU that would've happened eventually, the way riot has been working. If you just saw OG CS and CS 2016 in game, you'd be hard pressed to actually see the very few differences

Championship Riven got touched up and re-released. Those of us who had the original CS Riven only got a small crown (which I don't like, I much prefer the crownless version), and a border on the loading screen. The two versions in-game are entirely identical excluding that crown, and there's no way to swap between them (probably due to the lack of differences).

I also find it incredibly telling that you're accusing him of not having the original CS Riven, when he clearly has the S2 CS Riven icon.

leveling up in honor is really hard when most people just troll honor and going down in level takes little reports.

Gaining honor is incredibly easy, I just play the game and I'm level 3 honor. Just don't be toxic and it's honestly the easiest thing in the world to obtain. People who lose honor deserve to lose those levels.

When you say that Neo-PAX Sivir will be legacy and will drop skin shards, does this mean permanently, or just during this time frame? For instance, if I'm too poor for this right now and all through X-mas, will I still have a chance to get Neo-PAX Sivir in like February next year through loot chests, albeit rarely?

Well considering they have a Time Frame in the post it's probably safe to say that she's only available for that time. Being Legacy though, means she'll return again in the future. She probably won't be obtainable though outside of the current time frame, so it is a bit different from other Legacy skins.

That's what I want to know. They said she's craftable in that time frame, after which she goes in the legacy vault. But the current PAX Sivir isn't legacy - it's limited. So that's what I want to know if this will be just as obtainable as like Winter Wonder Karma or some other skin.

Probably not. It's like a Limited Legacy skin, so it'd only be available when they make it available.

To make it absolutely clear for everybody. This skin cannot be obtained by using mystery gifting and re-rolling 3 skin shards, correct?

I want to know this too. Legacy Skins can always be mystery gifted, so if Neo PAX Sivir is an exception then that means she's a whole new class of Skin.

Neo PAX Sivir will act as a loot-exclusive for the time window that she's available. So she could be rerolled but not mystery gifted.
