I'd love to mid, if I actually got mid. Considering 8 out of the 10 placement games I got anything but mid, it was rather frustrating.

1-Play solo support because nobody wants that role 2-Take a Mage Carry and take all the kills 3-??? 4-Profit

On a more serious note, taking some control mages as support can yield some surprising results as it does happen that your ADC gets killed in battle and you are left for cleanup. Investing in some aggressive items then, even as support can lead you to being one of the carries if your ADC gets focused too much in this assassin/tank meta and still help to peel since you are a control mage Zyra Morgana Karma for example
