Champion Spotlight: Braum, the Heart of the Freljord

Riot·May 9, 2014·10 votes·14,289 views

Learn to flex your protective muscles and master the art of shielding your friends and stunning your foes in the Braum Champion Spotlight.

Braum’s a tanky defender able to deflect both enemy attention and damage away from his teammates. During laning, dish out Concussive Blows to your enemies before letting your marksman trigger your passive’s stun, or, when you ally starts taking damage, quickly reposition with Stand Behind Me before using Unbreakable to save them from further harm. As the enemy team starts gathering, smash through their defenses with Glacial Fissure’s huge shockwave before slowing fleeing stragglers with Winter’s Bite.

Bear once fight Braum. Braum now has new coat.

Pieces of MyndMay 12, 201455 votes

I'm thinking a new skin for him with a blatantly volibear coat

J0HN C3N4May 12, 201421 votes

@Zileas would be most pleased. Annie

An English GuyMay 12, 201419 votes

Braum is too kind hearted to skin a bear. He'd probably win the wrestle, then get out the goat's milk to share with Voli

Youkai NingenMay 12, 201456 votes

Braum HEY Volibear WE MUST WRASSLE!

Pan BurikatMay 12, 201418 votes

Volibear lol ok

TheDoctorLegionMay 12, 201424 votes

Anyone else notice in the video they said "You'll have a heavy front line specialist ready to defends against any amount of aggression, or unexpeted bear wrestling" >> tis op rito... tis op indeed.. must have special speech when he see's . Something along the lines of what says when he steps on a trap >>

Rito.. we love you now more than ever.. expecially us AD Carry's, who are tired of having bad supports,

Jinx "Why you no body block cait ult?! >:O" Soraka ">_> i was supposed to?"

Ashe "Good teamwork, i thought u were across the lane!" Braum strokes mustache "I'm always there for you my sweet carry"

Darude ManstormMay 12, 201422 votes

No you have it all wrong, us support players are happy that a support comes out because we hardly ever get love since the support item changes. Also you adc mains should be greatful because the support role is devoted for adc's. Also suppport mains like me get tired of cocky adc's alot faster then adc's get tired of bad supports...

ZodianceMay 12, 201446 votes

No longer shall man mode champs be necessary. This is the only man you need in league. Braum

MagnateMay 12, 201435 votes

Pantheon + Braum = Game over.

kray0nzMay 12, 201419 votes

Ungodly PlaysMay 12, 201417 votes

The term, "Man Handling" shall now be taken to a new level.

yourbuddypalMay 12, 201416 votes

Did anyone else notice that some of the summoner names are names of mustaches? I noticed Handlebar, Curly Q, and Pencil. Well played Rito. A+! Braum

DrOinkleBerryMay 12, 201415 votes

This spotlight almost turned me gay.

And I am not alarmed by this.

RinCheeMay 12, 20145 votes

Awesome quote , no homo

MistifyMay 12, 201414 votes

Braum should get a special trinket in howling abyss where he gets a new poro biscut every time he dies

Dr KrakowMay 12, 20145 votes

Better idea, Braum has manly snax which when fed give the poro a moustache

LozierMay 12, 20148 votes

I thought if he gave a poro snax to a poro they'd get a mustache. :T item 2052

KeysameMay 12, 201414 votes

Actually, a good skin for Braum could be "good father" Braum Dresses in button up t shirt, jeans, tennis shoes, and has a normal wooden door as a shield, or a lawnmower His glacial fissure could be a trail of leaves he raked the other day And his Q could be dirty laundry or something funny along those lines that a father would throw at someone else

Shiro KiranMay 12, 201413 votes

Woodcutter/Carpenter Braum. Complete with flannel shirt, overalls, and Oaken door shield

Soy Milk is BadMay 12, 201412 votes

Im exciteddddd. Saved up 7800 IP for him. He reminds me of Tusk from DoTA2 sooo much and Tusk is so badass

Starkiller X51May 12, 201413 votes

why waste 7800 when you can wait a week and get him for 6300

professorpenguinMay 12, 201433 votes

because only real men dont care about spending more ip to play THE MOST MANLY OF ALL MEN the day he comes out

Princess AhegaoMay 12, 201415 votes

And women >=T I got over 10k saved up

Ben VenomousMay 12, 201421 votes

WOMEN CAN BE REAL MEN TOO

GaleWinUnleashedMay 12, 201454 votes

Why wait a week and get him for 6300 when you can get him NOW for 7800?

DdaedalusMay 12, 201412 votes

FINALLY a champ for me. My KDA will stay the same, but my deaths will MEAN something.

iBuildWebsite4UMay 12, 201411 votes

8:10 "...Potential to shield allies from tons of damage" So I'm assuming this is a hard counter to Bjergsen XD

misa jajabinksMay 12, 20149 votes

Phreak must be very against this champion: Braum

ProvocusMay 12, 201411 votes

"Captain Braum" featuring Braum with a car door for a shield would be sick, no? Captain America reference, yes?

Pieces of MyndMay 12, 20149 votes

Does he look a little pink to anybody else? I think braum got a little frostbitten. Riot give the man a fur coat!

iProxymoronMay 12, 20149 votes
