I bought two of these and just let me say worst mistake ever, I got only skins I ALREADY OWN and did not even get a single gemstone, absolute ripoff

These are pretty good chests. Your guaranteed a worlds skin or a challenger skin (also conquerer karma) and you get two other skin shards. thats a lot for the price of 600 considering the fact a worlds skin cost all guaranteed skins are worth 750-975 RP and you could get even more rare skin shards like an ultimate. This is also a great chance for gemstone farming if you want them

Each of these costs 600, 3 hextech chests cost 585 (key included). Statistically you will get a champion shard 30%. That figure may seem arbitrary but every sample of over 100 hextech boxes I've seen points to that figure. That means if you want skin shards it is overwhelmingly more valuable to get the MSI capsule. Even if you think every esports skin is trash tier it can be rerolled or be disenchanted towards a better skin shard. This way, at worst every esports skin will go towards a better one you receive from the capsule or already have. By this logic the worst capsule is always better than the worst chest, and the best capsule is significantly better than the best chest.

I heard these are much more worth than buying the same amount of RP worth of hextech chests (whatever the common multiple is between the two) but I don't really know if it actually is worth it. Doubled chance for gemstones add a great plus to it and not having the risk of getting a champion shard instead of a skin is too but they're a pretty big investment right off the bat. I opened one and got 2 skins worth 520 RP and challenger ahri so I re rolled them thinking I would get something better. Ended up with Jade Dragon Wukong. This is just one opening out of what I'm sure will be millions but only buy the chests if you have some extra RP to fall back on.

WELL F* ME! I just spend 100$ on the msi capsules to get gemstones and i legit only got 3 gems out of 19 capsules. i feel rip off big time.

Buy one of these and get 3 skin shards and a higher chance of a gemstone or buy 3 Hextech chests and you might get champion shards and a lower chance of getting a gemstone. I just unlocked Alien Invader Heimerdinger and Annie in Wonderland. I have a Secret Agent Miss Fortune skin shard that I want to make permanent, too. I couldn't find any of those skins in the shop. So happy

Absolute ripoff... I bought probably 10 of these things wanting to get darius skin, and only got one gem.... I mean really?!?!?!? i spent about 6000 RP on this and got hardly anything?!?! please rework this, it needs to be easier, totally cheating people, wish i could get a refund.

Riot please hear me plea,

Remove this ripoff item from your store and refund everyone who bought this. This is the most stupidest thing i ever done in my life. I used 20 dollars and bought 4 520 skins and useless skt1 skins. This was a complete waste of money. Give us all refunds, we deserve better than this. I am so disappointed in league of legends right now. Everygame i encoutner racism and so much toxicity i didn't expect riot to fuck me in the ass too with this MSI boxing thing. Please, don't permaban toxic players when you're trolling your own fans.

I have opened so many chests since hextech came out and still not got a gemstone. Don't u need 10 of them to get one skin? This is just a silly way to steal money.

I bought two of these and I'd say it was worth it. I got Aether Wing Kayle, Gentleman Cho'Gath, Ice Toboggan Corki, Renektoy, and the Zyra and Shen skins plus 2 gemstones.

150% bonus chance of 1% is 1.5%, I don't know why people fall for this. The chance is so low already that having a 50% increase is still going to be awful.

It's just like the people who fall for the nutritional labels such as "50% less sugar!", "25% more food!" "new and improved flavor!"

Not that I don't feel bad for you, and as much as I hate to say it, that's just bad luck, man. The gemstone rate has only been increased 50%, meaning that your odds of getting a few every hundred chests is only that much plus half that number, so it's not like it's guaranteed. As for your skins, how many do you have? Even if the odds were in your favor, then statistically speaking it had to happen to somebody. Riot doesn't have the time to individually tailor chests and whatnot to individual players, so of course the chance would exist, however small. Riot isn't trying to steal your money, it just kinda happens. Think of it like those little machines at the grocery store where you'd put in a quarter, twist the nob, and a capsule comes out. Again, I don't mean to sound snarky or apathetic, and believe me, I don't like saying these things, but I'd rather you didn't harbor hate for them. And if I've gotten the wrong idea and you're just trying to vent, sorry for wasting your time ^-^'
